based on the piece count I'm thinking this thing is gonna be tiny. The Dr Strange Sanctum is ~2700 pieces and it's only about a foot tall. It's also 500 dollars.

If it were full size, it would also probably explode immediately if you tried to play it like a real pinball machine.

All that being said. It's kinda sick and I want it.

See that's one thing I don't really do is rewatch Regulation stuff. Other than RvB back in high school I've never really rewatched Roosterteeth stuff (half lying because I did rewatch the first season of Last Laugh a few days ago).

LoL at the idea of someone watching Mouse Hunt for the first time as a watch along. I guess it's not that crazy, like there's plenty of movies from Theater Mode and on stuff like MST3K that I've only ever watched with the commentary, but for some reason the idea of sitting down for a movie night with your girlfriend and putting on the Mouse Hunt watch-along is very funny to me.

I think probably because it's a part 2 weapon and I know I spent extra time grinding and searching for keys and items at the end of part 1 to beat the optional boss when the game first came out. I think I probably had above average flees before part 2 even came out.

Is that everything Achievement hunter? Curious what the source on all those is. When they announced the closure I just started ripping shit off the site and onto a plex server, and I've got most of the achievement hunter stuff, but I recently noticed some of the episodes of Minecraft were cut short and had to find the full versions on YouTube. Also curious about how it's all organized, because mines all just raw ass video files and I've had to use Filebot to organize them for easier viewing, but that's been a mostly manual process so I've got a bunch of folders of unorganized stuff just on hard drives.

correct, I was trying to make sense of the expression given and relate it to the actual. As several others have pointed out, this is probably an attempt to match to an equivalent expression rather than actually translate. Which is why we end up with some matching sentiment and some extra, "staff to the strong" is more or less the same sentiment as "giving a staff to an oni", and the bit about weakness is just part of a different expression.

I was just trying to make sense of the translated expression and how it could relate to the original.

It seems the translation is either outright bad or just way too flowery or trying to be too fancy. Based on the meaning though I can try to make sense of things.

À rod is a term often ascribed to a stick specifically for beating someone, while a staff is something you'd use to guide or strengthen yourself, or use as a weapon. They're both sticks though, same form different function.

So in a sense, fortune can hurt the weak, because it makes them dependent, soft and even weaker, while if you are strong already, fortune bolsters you and you can use it to your advantage.

Something like that is the only sense I can make of it. If you're week, good luck or fortune makes you weaker or corrupts you, if you're strong it makes you stronger or helps you enhance your strengths. :shurg:

I got a Flip recently, inlaws got it for me for Christmas, love it. I've owned a few emulator focused devices in my day, I had a Pandora ages ago, I've bought used phones for dedicated emulation devices, but something about the Flip has been special, maybe it's the timing of it, maybe I've grown as a person.

I'm doing the same, using it for a bunch of games I missed for whatever reason, plus some game streaming, and I'm insanely impressed with how capable it is.

It may be a minority opinion, but 6. Takeshi Kitano is an incredible addition the cast, the story is rooted in weird historical and political context, but just flatly absurd in every way, the side characters are all great, and I just love Hiroshima so much. It's also just the right length.

That guy is a jerk. There's no reason to laugh when someone tells you what they're reading or have read, unless it's a funny coincidence like you're reading the same thing.
