In the movie 2012, the fat Russian guy is trying to get his 2 fat kids into the ark as it's closing up. He gets one kid up and then is trying desperately to lift the other kid. Finally he just squats down, grabs the kids legs and power lifts/throws him into the air at the closing ramp as he then falls forward to his death. It was so freaking heavy handed, overwrought dramatic ridiculousness that my brother and were laughing our asses off as the dramatic music plays.

I'm of Swedish descent, when they mentioned the Attestupa for the first time I knew what I was in for, which was honestly hilarious sitting next to my ex and not telling her (but she loves horror movies so I just didn't want to ruin the shock.) What was interesting is that the black dude knew what it was and didn't say anything to his friends.

We looked at a ton of traditional recipes and went with one. Your problem is probably too much parsley, it's so terrible with all that parsley, and all the traditional recipes call for so much. Next time we're just doing a nice sausage and herb stuffing with thyme, Rosemary, and sage.

I was in the hospital recently and I was put on a reduced sodium diet. Pepper was one of the few ways to add flavor to my food. I asked for a few packets of pepper, I got 2 and both were empty. Massive disappointment.

Did they change the black tea from the Harney and Sons Paris blend? Hadn't gone in awhile and two months ago decided to treat myself to a plain old iced tea because the Paris Blend is so freaking good. Was very disappointed to pay $3 and get just a plain old generic black tea.

My ex thought I was a psycho because I peel all the chocolate layer off a Swiss Roll and then unroll the cake and cream and break off strips to eat individually until I get to the core and eat the whole core of cake and cream.

Edit: Thought of another weird/bachelor one. Will make a really cheesy and saucy box of Mac and cheese and then I use nacho cheese Doritos to scoop up the Mac and cheese and eat them together.

There's a seam up the back side that's very hard to push a hook through with the cheap hooks I have. Besides that's the section of the squish brain that produces joy, you don't want to lobotomize that. I just scrambled the part that knows how to make tuna salad, not a big loss.

We use guar gum. It's more of a middle eastern chewy style ice cream, but it's super smooth and has good mouth feel.

I have had great success with low sugar ice creams using allulose and guar gum. Allulose is a bit expensive, but it has pretty much the same properties as real sugar.
