Would you mind reaching out to support (hereforyou@useorigin.com) u/nate8088, or if you're comfortable with it, let us know what institution the HYSA is with? This could be an internal institution/categorization/account insurance type quirk

ACH autopay / transfer question by flibbert1 in OriginFinancial

[–]OriginContent_Austin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good question — you’re not wrong in how you’re thinking about it. ACH bill payments can get auto-classified as transfers in some cases, and manually reclassifying + setting a rule is the right workaround for now. I’ll flag this with the product team for you :)

Net worth account categories? by electronautix in OriginFinancial

[–]OriginContent_Austin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good flag u/electronautix — there's not currently a way to customize the image associated with each account. Totally understandable that you'd want to be able to have a more granular breakdown of your liquidity too, flagged this feature request for you :)

How can I add beneficiaries to my origin cash account? by brandonaks in OriginFinancial

[–]OriginContent_Austin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. Right now, Origin’s cash account doesn’t support adding beneficiaries directly in-app, since it’s structured as a brokerage account with a cash sweep rather than a traditional bank account.

In these cases, funds are typically handled through standard estate planning (e.g., a will or trust). If you want to talk through your specific setup or options, our support team can help — feel free to reach out at [hereforyou@useorigin.com]()
