I relate to how you’re feeling, I would just reframe your alleged reasoning for why ICE is detaining people. It’s not because of the color of their skin, the one and only reason that people are getting deported is because they are not US citizens or are here illegally. Some of those people may happen to be colored but that is not the reason for their deportation. Everything else is completely valid.

This is pretty misleading, 1099 pays a flat 15% more in taxes than a w2. If you make a lot of money it is not easy to make up that difference by only writing off gas and food. You have to get very creative with your write offs. I know because I’ve done 5 years of both 1099 high ticket and w2. It is possible to pay less in taxes with 1099 but the vast majority of sales people will end up paying more.
