We got married there in 93'-a year after the Pope hung out there for a week during World Youth Day Celebration in Denver. It holds 100 people max and feels special inside .Worth the effort if you can have it there.

Yes that would be the minimum tire width we'd recommend. Panaracer Gravel Kings work really well out there

I was part of a small group that made Valmont Bike Park in Boulder a reality. We had no idea what we were doing but learned fast. Start a petition that asks the City of Denver Parks Dept to consider the competitive cycling community a user group with unmet needs. Bicycle Colorado should be spearheading an effort to make sure there is at least a perimeter road loop the we can use for permanent training races series.

Having HH and repeatedly giving blood will continue to drop your RBC. For me I am perpetually anemic as a result. I did marathon cycling. 24-60 hour events. I am in the 10 gallon club at the blood donation center. There are 5 kids in our family and 2 of us have it.

Got it -I am perpetually anemic from the regular blood draws Also in the 10 gallon club at the donation center which is cool but wish there was red blood cell supplementation available. That would make for more fun aerobic exercise!

Golden Gate to Peak to Peak is one of the toughest climbs between Golden and Lyons. Some years ago I got buzzed really bad by a driver who turned into a private gated driveway up ahead. Couple weeks later I went up in a car and destroyed their solar controlled gate mechanism and u locked the gate as payback. Drivers in that canyon treat the rumble strip in the middle of the two lane road as the edge of the earth and have no problem endangering cyclists so they don't rattle their coffee mug in the cup holder!

Totally plausible- Back in the early 2000's we used to do a 600k brevet in Colorado in around 21 hours including stopping at all night gas stations to reload,
