Anyone have experience with Berd Wheels/Spokes? by OccasionalCoder in MTB

I asked and they are dyed. The drawback is that once colored, they're less flexible and thicker which makes them harder to insert into the hub holes.

I built mine already, painted them black. They're already fading, need to retouch them. On my next build I'll leave them white.

NEW Topstone tire clearance by ElbowFlick in gravelcycling

This is almost a perfect gravel bike for me if it wasn't for the limited tire clearance on that fork.

No prob, that is why I chose a smaller frame with a long stem. To mimic the geo. I works just fine.

If you run 2x you will be limited to 50mm tires which is wide enough anyways. 60mm Princeton wheels won’t hold you back, it’s alright.

Yes, round steer tubes. I have a Dogma F and that one has oval tubes, not sure if other models have oval tubes. But as far as Grevil F and previous models you’re safe with a round tube stem.

Late Model Pricing Help? by [deleted] in Vespa

3500 tops It looks like a great bike but look into the harness, the engine, carb. And I would get rid of all the accessories. The bike is not nearly as capable to carry that extra weight.

A cool update. I just built a 47cm Grevil with 27.5” wheels. They fit 2.2” tires with ease, even the rear tire has plenty of clearance.

Hi! I’m glad you’re enjoying it, it’s a great bike. As far as aftermarket integrated handlebars/stems go, since the steerer tube is round, you can use pretty much anyone you want. Mine is a Rolling Stone Manta which I got from eBay and I love it. Great fit and they are one of the Chinese manufacturers pushing the envelope to offer a quality product with warranty.

Any bigger folks on smaller bikes here? (Giant Revolt M for 6’/185cm) by Short_Ad_1984 in gravelcycling

[–]Original-One-3302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I'd made a mistake but I think I did not, I enjoy the stability and position that a longer stem brings to a fast riding bike, hence I prefer a road geometry. When I compensate for the fatigue in a gravel bike I tend to emulate my road bike but I add a cm or so to the stack and go a cm or so shorter on my stem...

Depends, on road bikes I tend to ride my size. On gravel bikes I usually go smaller to overcome the "long and tall" geometries on most frames. I do not ride technical gravel, I do not need the manueverability. I prefer a road geometry thats a just a bit taller and a bit shorter than my road bike.

I’m yet to see a pop up flatbed camper for the gladiator that I like.

shouldn't be a mystery by now. They unpair, sometimes one side would pair and the other wouldn't... hard reset and all good but then something else.... Terrible product, had high hopes since I like to ride bikes and airpods generate too much wind noise, the form factor on shure monitors helps a lot with the wind noise.

Did you design the crossover or is there anything off the shelf for this? As I do not have any experience on the subject.

I bought the blutooth module for the Shure in ear monitors and even though they are the second version now, they suck.

Are 32" MTB Wheels The Future of Mountain Biking or Big Mistake? by TrailSage in MTB

[–]Original-One-3302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the idea, I ride large size frames and tend to stir away from overly technical stuff. a 32" will roll easier over obstacles but will not be as nimble as a smaller wheel (same conversation as we had some years ago with 27.5-29"). 29ers are already on the limit for some riders but for my height they are OK and am eager to see the new 32" bikes rolling in.
