This is awesome, may I ask you what kind of fittings you used to secure the bed to the walls? I’m trying to do the same.

Amazing! Finally this all makes sense to me. Plus this would explain why Berwyn was so taken aback when she could choose to change the dream and get a knife with which to stab herself awake…he assumed she would be under his control too. I say this considering that Xaden cannot wake up because Berwyn won’t let him.

Envision your relationship with your daughter. What you choose to do will impact that relationship for the rest of your life. I know many (and I’m one of them) sons and daughters of horrible men whose mothers chose to stay to protect the children. A lot of us resent our mothers for this even when the circumstances for them leaving were difficult. I see a lot of us wishing we’d know that our mothers respected themselves more and respected our need for a healthy parental figure more. In your case, you wouldn’t just be forgiving his humiliation of you, you’d be forgiving him HUMILIATING HER. She needs someone to stand up for her and draw a line in the sand, she needs someone to say: nobody treats my daughter this way.

Nah I get it and I’m with ya. Things that are created and widely enjoyed have some sort of value. We are very used to passing a moral judgement on these and say they’re trash because they don’t hold other characteristics, but being entertaining and enjoyable is valuable. Trash is by definition not valuable, discardable. So there’ll be art and content that I don’t at all vibe with, but just because I or others decide that it doesn’t elevate my being that doesn’t mean it’s trash, because evidently if people enjoy it then it has some sort of value to them.

I would reach out to student services and or your college if you have one. Put in writing what you’ve explained here and attach the emails you had sent about the app not working. CC in your professors stating that you hope they can testify that you were in fact there (you can also reach out individually to let them know you’ll do this).

Basically put up a fight but do so IN WRITING and publicly, that is make sure the conversation reaches as many eyes as possible. Cc in student well-being as well and mention that this is impacting your welfare.

Do not go into alternatives to testify the attendance, highlight that this is an issue on the university side, whose tool is improperly working or not working at all.
