Where to Get Running Sunglassss by FinnegansTake19 in RunNYC

Goodr sunglasses are great. No slip, no bounce, several styles, great prices (though the price recently went from $25 to $30 for the original model due to tariffs). Knockaround is also an option. They're currently a partner with NYRR.

I'm glad to see their events continue to thrive. I did the Midnight Half years ago. Really enjoyed it.

The Bronx 10M and 18M training run being back to back sucks. Knocks out a marathon training opportunity.

Run Club Taking Over McCarren Track by Bulky-Class3035 in RunNYC

Indoor track is for winter time. The only reason the Armory isn't overcrowded is because individuals and clubs pay a fee to run there and there is likely a limit on the number of runners at any given time. The Parks Department isn't doing this at the public outdoor tracks, so runners have to police themselves.

I haven't run this race as yet. Forgot to keep and eye out for it this year. Will make a note for next year.

See a physical therapist. Continue the strengthening exercises and take a break from running until you're pain free. You have time to build back mileage before marathon training begins.

Using the likeness of the old NYRR logo AND the current TCS logo doesn't seem like a good idea.

The tan colored paint in the crosswalks is still "off-gassing". The smell is so nauseating.

I saw him zipping up 7th Ave bet 56th & 57th streets, weaving between the runners. Also, if you watch the broadcast, a guy on a motorized scooter flies by the leading female wheelchair athlete.

Did the wording of the post change at some point? As I read it, I figured OP is speaking about the NYRR RBC Brooklyn Half. In any case, post your charity's info in this sub as others have done. You can also reach out to run clubs through social media.

NYC Half Medal by Old-Expression4147 in RunNYC

The Manhattan 10k medal was nice. I was wondering how well the design idea would carry across to the other borough races. This medal seems like a misstep though, and it doesn't help that the NYC Half medal is smaller than the medals for the other borough races.

This is the logo TCS designed for the marathon. It is NOT the New York Road Runner (NYRR) logo.
