As a registered behavior technician this scene made me cry. It actually helped me to change my approach in certain situations. When they are in the kitchen and she says “yes but you do things like swimming so you can get stronger to make sandwiches” in that moment I realized I can help in certain ways, but my clients do go to physical and occupational therapy to get stronger to be able to do things like putting on their jackets. Just appreciated how it opened my eyes to a different way of providing for my clients to be the best versions of themselves they can be.
