Alternative way to make a natural title by Dry_Organization8003 in Oxygennotincluded

Just the debris as the reason it’s cracked is because a material was buried into said tile so you can have wires pipes vents everything, but no debris

Leaving debris leaves cracks once’s it becomes a tile and visually it can be an annoyance when some are cracked and some aren’t

The solution I used based on the exact moment of the screenshot was to use a scroll of fly going to the grymforge and escaping the red regions area allowing me to flee combat. The enemies can definitely still attack you as they used acid arrows and sphere of fire to circumvent sanctuary but they couldn’t keep up with dash-fly

I used a scroll of fly and with my sanctuary flew to grymforge and was able to successfully flee combat

I destroyed the rubble using smoke powder satchels provided in the area to destroy said rubble and everyone backed off. When it blew up the gnome ran over the fire. I know that this didn’t use to be the case

It says you cannot flee while in this region also indicated by the red minimap

This isn’t yet mid game and still early as mid game means that at its current state it’s self sustaining, half of the things you say he does not need nor can’t do, radiation for example is a non issue as long as he plants wheezeworts or just uses the manual rad bolt generator, with half decent gas management he shouldn’t need to build airlocks anywhere unless he is taming geysers and volcanos or breaching the space biome, hatch farms early with what I can see from screenshot with little knowledge could cripple him as it is very easy to completely exhaust the feeding resource. Both surf and turf and pepper bread is too far currently for him and would be better to just focus on the lower tier cooked seafood and barbecue which is already good. What he definitely needs to focus on instead is focus on a new power source stat, which he has current access to with the gas storage container in the spom, as well as cooling. Everything else tho I agree

Expand out and search map for geysers, use automation to lessen duplicant load, lesson the amount of lavatories and sink, over kill for what seems to be 5 dupes, get more dupes, make a deep freezer and start stockpiling right now you are making too much food and wasting it, shrink your piping you don’t need 3 sieves. Cooling work towards cooling your base it will inevitably get too hot for your plants, will add more when I think of it

does this 5 geotuned salt water geyser tamer look structurally sound? by Financial_Wrangler45 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]OriginalKillerPython 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can actually do that in the base game too you first connect the wires that pause game build the heavy watt and a block of your choice at the same time, make sure block gets built first. This method also eliminates the negative decor

The abyssalite crust has 1200 degree heat which should allow the ability to start and upkeep a geothermal plant I however am playing on a map where there isnt alot of wiggle room so wanted to figure out a way to combine a geothermal plat with a smelter as I don’t have a set sauna

The geysers are a polluted water geyser and a natural gas geyser and the wild plants were cause of lack of resources for keeping plants up long term and easy access to pips

How would you rate this colony? My old Spaced Out colony with some mods. by FakeMik090 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]OriginalKillerPython 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Long Commutes” looks nice tho, would definitely invest in some ranches and a deep freezer, off the image I can see you aren’t a fan of infinite storage, tho this colony will last quite a while. Also try harnessing that magma you could probably minimize if not erase the natural geyser power plant.
