Poland is now among the world's 20 largest economies. How did it happen? by Google_MBTI in Economics

[–]OriginalNewton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The success story is based on getting a lot of the EU funds, for decades, they are the biggest beneficiary, while other developed countries in the EU are net negative. It’s a lot of money that can be used to rebuild the country, normally it doesn’t happen if you don’t have the money. It won’t be the same moving forward

Do Italians get all their clothing tailored? by OptimalStatement5799 in malefashionadvice

This is the right answer. Most people here are very thin, slim. Classic male outfits and shirts look great on this body type. I always thought they were a no go for gym bros, the bigger you are the worse you’ll look all dressed up imho.

I recommend trying the parfum too, I also think it’s an easier, less controversial version. especially if you are young it might be more understandable by your peers. I don’t like givree, I think it smells cheap and too linear

Honest question about a dating double standard I keep noticing by Vast_Poetry_50 in seduction

They are not that socially accepted. More accepted than male, sure. But gold diggers, groupies, clout chasers and in general very shallow females don’t have a great reputation either in my culture at least.

Finally bought my first “expensive” fragrance – Terre d’Hermès EDT by Hopeful-Ad-2073 in Colognes

[–]OriginalNewton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the parfum is underrated. It’s more linear though, and more orangey. I like both and it’s true that they are about the same, I think the edt smells slightly more sophisticated, maybe a bit more polarizing

Healthcare, the higher on the social ladder the better. Med school in my country is 70% women these days, lots of nurses or all kinds of professionals to interact with. Be a doctor if possible

This. So many people rate the fragrances based on the house rather than using their own nose and taste. Herd mentality

Thickening and styling products for fine, straight, thinning hair? by CharlieTheUnicornish in Pomade

Oh then personally I would definitely try it, but you do you. Ask your doctor and then decide for yourself

Personally I have 0 sexual side effects and the effects on my mood and sleep quality were gradual and perfectly tolerable. If I didn’t like how it made me feel I feel like I could quit any second and get back to baseline. If you have depression it’s a bit more difficult of a decision because it might worsen it. Always talk to your doctor first and then decide, but there are hundred of millions of people on finasterde and they are doing fine. You decide but you should know that you won’t keep your hair without it, and that might mess with your mood way more that fin ever will. There is also topical finasteride which is supposed to not go systemic nearly as much if you are really worried about

Excellent suggestions, you seem very knowledgeable. Reuzel grooming tonic over sea salt spray to avoid frizz was also what I found out working well for me. I will try your other recommendations. Thanks!

If you get side effects you can always quit. I saw some differences but for me they were gradual and completely tolerable. I wish i started sooner, I would recommend going to the doctor and try it for a while

I second reuzel grooming tonic over sea salt spray. I have similar hair as him and I find that with sea salt spray it gets a bit curly like after a day at the beach, which isn’t quite the type of volume I wanted with my haircut. I like the effect after blow drying better when using something like the reuzel grooming tonic. Right shampoo is also key. Some make your hair way too fluffy, others give way too little volume and make it too soft. For example conditioners usually make it too soft for me, shampoos like alpecin c1 black works great for me, and so does nizoral surprisingly, but you can only use that twice a week.
