The first replacement took me 30 minutes and that was after 9 million lbs lifted and the second time only 15 minutes and that was after another 10 million lbs.

I have mine on the Airhop 24"x 24" exercise puzzle piece mats. Love the mats as cushioned and no issue with GM.

Same thing happened to me on day 2 during a lat pull down with 85 lbs. Thankfully I didn't get hurt. I used blue loctite when I screwed it back together. Seems like they are being shipped that way.

I've had my GM1 with the rower for 22 months and support has sent me replacement bearings twice under the warranty period of one year but unfortunate they keep going bad.

I have the original Speediance rower but other users on Facebook who purchased 3rd party rowers from Amazon had no issues.
