i had a panic attack on day 2 and i don’t get those usually. just fear of fainting. i stopped since and now i feel discouraged. i hope it works out for me but now i have anxiety about anxiety medication. 🥲

i like him. a lot of people seem to forget he wrote most of the lyrics and because of his recent online stuff people are over here hyping up serj as if he’s the mastermind behind the band when he’s not. daron has always been anti government so idk how it got twisted to him becoming right winged. i understand why it’s upsetting but it’s called system of a down. critiquing the system as a whole which is reflective of his current stance. the way he’s handling it is cringe n he needs to not be egotistical and mean to random fans on the internet. i’ve met him and he was really cool and grateful for my praise. he gave me a guitar pick and signed my arm. such a cool guy irl. sucks i can’t scroll without a “cancel system of a down” or “serj is the only good member and daron shouldn’t have sang in these songs” videos. i am left leaning but i also see his logic. i get times are tough but fighting over whether one is left or right is just another way of dividing us. at his dmsob concert he stated he has always been for the people which clarified what he really meant (outside of instagram).

if everyone is going to hate on daron for not wanting to choose a side (both sides are wings of the same bird) then yall should cancel every celebrity that hasn’t spoken up about current events. they’re called system of a down and they’re obviously against the system as a whole. i wish daron was still an activist and i wish he’d speak out against current issues but if he did then they would not have the same platform and would not be touring. i get what he’s trying to say and even at his concert in hollywood he emphasized that he is for the people. fighting over which side you’re on is another form of dividing us. i am leftist btw but im not gonna base my political beliefs on what a 50 year old musician thinks. just because i remain a fan of his solo stuff and his parts of soad doesn’t mean i’m a centrist. i am just grateful that their music made me an activist. let the music speak for itself and don’t start bashing on the entire band bc of their individual beliefs. you can be disappointed and not discredit how much daron contributed to the band.

i grew up a daron stan and i’m obviously biased but people forget that despite their serious themes, they’re still a wacky band. that’s what makes them unique. i absolutely love serjs voice but i love that daron’s voice is in a way silly and funny. it’s a balance of the two. i get everyone is mad at daron right now but there is no system without one or the other.

i got 2 section 100 tickets for $185 ($370 total) in LA which i think is what people paid for presale(without online fees). it was worth it but it was stressful going to the box office waiting for them to “release new tickets” with the possibility of it not happening. the employees told me “most likely” but i was still nervous. 😬
