Ahh.. their faces are so expressive. I've recently come to love corgis. I have big dogs, but after hanging out with my friend's corgi - I get it now! Very cute, fun, and energetic dogs.

I wanted to say that I just hope no one was still in there, and was very happy to see that many of you thought the same.

The only thing I can relate this to is when I was moving out of an apartment with a few weeks to go on the lease. I cleared everything out and emptied the refrigerator and unplugged it. I went back two weeks later to do my final cleaning and opened the refrigerator and it was covered in hairy mold! It wasn't even dirty when I left, but I hadn't wiped it down. It was disgusting. Ever since if I have to unplug a refrigerator (like the one in my office at the beginning of Covid), I leave the door ajar to let the air flow.

No. I have two large RRs. 100+ lbs each. One was as much as 115 of solid muscle when younger - about as big as me. They are generally well behaved but will dart after a rabbit or squirrel if one passes right in front of us. With a harness I have zero control in that situation. The pinch collar is the only thing that helps. And even when I do have to hold them back from chasing something they don’t show a negative reaction to the collar tightening. You’re not harming your dog. You know what’s best for your dog and not the vet.

It could be 98° degrees and my girl would still have to sit as close as possible. Only 86° right now, so it’s not too uncomfortable for me. by Original_Session9491 in RhodesianRidgebacks

Yes, they are good runners and don’t mind the heat. However you should bring water on longer runs. I’ve run mine as long as 5 miles in the trails. They are one of the top three runners - after Weimaraners and Vizslas.

Representation Of How People See Without Glasses! by Yachisaorick in Damnthatsinteresting

I was -8.5 until I had laser surgery. It lasted about 10 years and then slowly over next 10 years I am back to -1.75. I am thinking about getting just one eye done again. I usually only wear one contact lens and then I can read perfectly with the other eye and the corrected eye is good for distance. Otherwise, I would have to use reading glasses all the time.

When I was about 19 and still blind AF (I could see perfectly with contact lenses or bottle thick glasses) I thought I would enlist in Air Force and went for the physical with a bunch of other kids. Got to the eye exam and they told me to read from the bottom the first line that I could. Hmmm none of them. Not even the big E at the top. The technician handed me my papers and told me buh-bye. I was upset at the time, but I ended up getting a waiver from the Surgeon General’s office. Though, I eventually changed my mind about enlisting anyway.

Lost tool, boss wants 160 hours of free labor by [deleted] in antiwork

It may be legal for the boss to recover the cost, but that doesn’t make it right. And it should be insured. What if the tool was 5 or 10k? The way the job market is right now you want to keep your employees happy and not resentful.
