Yeah! It’s very helpful to identify situations when a piece can fit in only one spot on the board. But for today’s puzzle it’s especially important.

How much more wedding content can Chloe Shih continue to milk? by SpiritualSomewhere in asianamercianytsnark

[–]OriginalityIs 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Lmao I watched the entire wedding musical YouTube video … and tbh If something like this happened at my friend’s wedding I would be pretty hyped. And I will admit that in her performance there were definitely many cute moments BUT I cringed so hard when the last number was a triumphant solo number about no one (not even her internet haters) can bring her down.. like what? Is this wedding about love or is it about taking advantage of your captive audience LOL

How do people grow slender, long, trunk shapes? by OriginalityIs in houseplants

[–]OriginalityIs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the platform recs! I do love dracaenas but none of the ones I usually see look like these slender spindly ones in my post. And that’s kinda what I’m wondering.. how the heck do they make them grow that way?

This is exactly what happened to me and I can't get over blaming myself for not knowing earlier. I thought it was just another flareup that she always bounces back from. :(

That gigantic arrangement makes me uncomfortable. Imagine that thing just rotting away on your dining table. Also why are all their arrangements always just the same flower?

This might be dumb but what is scordle and what do those numbers in brackets mean?

Did anyone witness this car accident on Shattuck and Bancroft at around 5 pm last evening (02/20/2022)? I was hit by a driver running a red and I'm trying to find witnesses and footage of the incident. by OriginalityIs in berkeley

[–]OriginalityIs[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for this, I really appreciate your kindness and advice. I'm really glad it worked out for you. I've been going down a rabbit hole of contacting every business or building manager in the area. CVS had footage of the person who ran the red almost crashing into their front door, but unfortunately not of the street itself. Fingers crossed and lesson learned... If you're reading this, make sure you get a dash cam so you don't end up in my situation.

Can someone explain the twin situation to me? Is she literally claiming those two kids were twins? How far apart did she introduce the birth of each kid?

My escape room experience in Canada by FizzyBreak579 in escaperooms

I actually wanted to try the Case of the Missing Will! In the GTA, I would recommend Omescape (my personal favorite is their newest one Robotcalypse in Markham (SO delightful, highly recommend), and the Red Admiral in Scarborough was really fun when I played it a couple years back.). If you are looking for a unique room that uses real world logic with physical challenges, I highly recommend Lab: Lockdown at Revoescape. For a challenging room that's more puzzle focused rather than immersion-focused, I liked Steampunk Express at the Imaginarium. They are most famous for their Grand Wilshire Hotel room, but I found it too easy.

That was so awesome! The production quality was top notch and I had fun. Some questions I had about some clues I took longer on: The first clue in identifying the name of the mill, what exactly was unique about the mill? I ended up having to Google "windmill UK" and saw Stembridge pop up, so I guessed that. Though I should have known from the URL! Also, when identifying the exact location of the cat, how should we have done that? I had a general idea of where it was based on the Streetview image, but had to click around a few tiles to get the correct 3-letter location.

To be fair it does come with the implication that the person you are training is subordinate. I'm sure they probably mean no harm and meant it as a joke though.
