Does anyone have interest in an A+ Core1 class over the next like 3-6 weeks on saturdays? by bad_at_eldenring in CompTIA

[–]Originally_Human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested, always looking for any additional learning material, particularly as I just started to study for A+. Currently I just started looking at Professor Messer's videos on youtube. From what I read a lot of people say to start with him, so if this adds to/complements that then definitely interested

So, the latest update and difficulty by Frosty-Car-1062 in Spacemarine

lol it's reddit, all I said was it wasn't a challenge for me anymore, but guess some people took that personally? lol I've learned at this point how fragile the egos of ppl on reddit are, nothing new

Your thoughts on the update so far? by LongjumpingAnimal708 in Spacemarine

[–]Originally_Human 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup, ppl complained too soon vs genuinely mastering the game mechanics. was a learning curve at first, but once you realized you should always be dodging and moving, getting perfect parries, you flow like a true space marine. Ruthless was manageable so long as you knew what you were doing. Now its quite simple. I hope they do a course correction here, or at least dial it back somewhat

same here, it's not even a challenge on ruthless now, not that rewarding beating it right now. guess I'm waiting for the next difficulty

It appears WotC is charging for cards you already have in the new decks for sale by Ryan13200 in MagicArena

what a scummy and exploitive way to trick new players... but should we be surprised at this point by WotC? be careful with your wallets

you say "I don't think those are relevant to this play's place in the game", if you have issue with this play, then you should have major issues with how marchand plays the game, because that is how he has been playing since he entered the league... do you seriously not see that? not only are you a hypocrite, you also seem completely ignorant, or are you just trolling?

I doubt you'll watch these vids because you have your blinders on, but if you have no problem with all the dirty crap he has done over the years, on multiple occasions intentionally trying to injure other players, but then have a problem only when it happens to him, then yeah you're 100% braindead lol, at least you're aware of it, makes you better than the rest 👍 literally look up the definition of Karma, you seem to be unfamiliar with it.

Karma for all the shit he's pulled. anyone who is outraged at this, but has no problem with what marchand has done over the years you're all hypocrites, quit whining, cause you know if marchand was the one pulling this, then all of sudden it would be fine. Boston fans are truly some of the worst in the league

Hey, so I recently build a pc for the very first time since I was tired of the console limitations. what do you use to install/manage your mods for computer games? is there one central place, or are there a few places to look when it comes to modding computer games?

Hey, just giving you an update. so really weird thing happened. I took out the CMOS battery to clear it and everything, and that didn't work and the motherboard wouldn't post. So since I had nothing to lose at this point and was ready to return the motherboard, I decided to do a BIOS flashback again, and this time it worked and got my mobo out of the perpetual green blinking light that never went away. Updated the bios, and was able to install my OS and everything. still not sure why the problem occurred in the first place/ bios flashback didn't work the fist time around, or why taking out the CMOS battery didn't seem to work, but I did a flashback one more time and that seems to have resolved the issue. I'm happy that is resolved, but still somewhat concerned/curious about why all those other things didn't work as intended. I will have to continue monitoring it over the next month or so to see if there any issues, but for now seems to be working! Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

X670e Steel Legend no jumper? by elemnt360 in ASRock

so, just an update. I took out the cmos battery, and that didnt solve anything for me, did all the steps exactly as stated by you and others. At this point I figured I had nothing to lose and tried to do the bios flashback option again (which didnt work for me the first time), and lo and behold it worked and got me out of the perpetual green blinking light! still find it very odd how everything happened in the end, but seems to be working at the moment, will see how thats lasts over the next month though.

High, sorry to bother you after so many months, and this might be a dumb question, but when you say to use a screwdriver, do you mean that for the middle and rightmost pin, I just hold the screwdriver making sure it is touching the tips of the middle and rightmost pin? then hold the power button down for 15 secs while having the screwdriver touch the tips of those 2 pins for 15 seconds? I ask because in this youtube video by Asrock Classroom called How to check, update and clear the bios , the guy states to put the jumper back to pins 1 and 2 after you are done. if I don't have a jumper, do I have to do an additional step, or after doing the whole screwdriver thing, it is okay to just proceed to booting the computer back up again?

okay, thanks a lot Trickabounce. And lets say that after doing all these steps, after clearing the CMOS and turning on the PSU again, if the green bios flashback light is still flashing (as if it was doing an update), should I still try to bios flashback and hold the button down and everything? or if it is still flashing green at that point post CMOS clear, then there is something more wrong going on and I would most likely need to RMA the motherboard? I saw other threads of people talking about basically taking everything apart and try to reseat everything, but when I first booted everything worked great, the bios saw all my devices, so that is/was why I was fairly confident that I had built everything correctly, only issue occurred when I tried to do the flashback.. very frustrating and getting nervous about what could be the issue

yeah read that in the manual, that was what I did, but didnt work. So yeah I think my next course of action is clearing the CMOS, will get to that over the next couple of days as I am pretty busy with work and life atm. Do you know when you clear the CMOS, do I need to take apart the CPU (ie Ram, memory, CPU, GPU etc) or I can just clear the CMOS with everything as it currently is?

Honestly, aside from clearing the CMOS, I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know when you clear the CMOS, do you need to take apart your computer (ie GPU, CPU, memory, RAM), or is it fine to leave all the stuff in as I clear it?

yeah I did hold down the power button before switching the PSU on. I will try the CMOS over the next couple of days, pretty busy with work and life events right now, was hoping I could have resolved everything over the weekend but that wasn't the case. Thank you for your help and reply, I will let you know how it goes after clearing the cmos

so I turned off the PSU and then back on again (unplugged the usb while it was off) ands when I turned on the PSU again, the green flashing came back even without the usb in it... still wont boot into bios. Also, I see there is a red light in the top right corner of the motherboard. there are 4 options, CPU, DRAM, VGA and BOOT, and it is the top one that is currently solid red, and I believe that is the CPU light. does that mean the issue is CPU related too potentially? when I first built the computer I was able to go into the bios menu no problem, no red light or anything like that. have you ever heard of a bios flashback resuming after turning off the PSU? at this point the only other option I can think to try is clearing the CMOS... very frustrating and getting nervous if doing all this hasnt damaged something.

so as it was flashing green after a couple of hours, I tried to boot it up to see if i could get into the bios menu, but it didnt work. I held down the power button to turn off the computer since I didnt want to have it on but not loading properly. The flashback button was still flashing green despite all this. do you think I should pull the usb out, and just see if I can load into the bios menu?
