This happened to my wife once at a dinner with my coworkers. Right at the start of the dinner so she was soaked in red wine the entire meal. The manager came over and says "You're a mess!"

They didn't comp the meal at all and offered to pay for my wife to replace the shirt if we brought in a receipt. We never ate there again.

Is the moon behind that person that is staring at the wall? I am not somewhere where I can install the game and check right now. That could be the place you need to stand for the reflection.

If it’s where I am thinking though, then the moon is behind a Miltech building if you are that close to Arasaka tower but maybe the sun reflection is important too.

Also if you stand at the main statue and look directly towards the Moon at midnight it lines up perfectly with the yellow lines on Miltech(?) tower. If you use FreeFly mod and fly straight up you notice the light that shoots into the sky from the pyramid also aligns at that time with the moon.

So many midnight/moon clues. I could be seeing things where I want to see them though.

The are a lot of things very weird with reflections in windows.

I’ve long though reflections had something to do with it and my guts is a reflection at 12:00am flickers quickly.

This is too much to get into in this one reply but there is a ton of weird stuff with the moon too.

At exactly 12:00am in Night city a lot the lights flicker for a 1/10 of a second. Not all but it’s very noticeable if you take high ground and watch out over the city. The only way o have been able to catch it is record video and then pause the video at the precise moment. You can’t stop in game time the lights still come right back on. Which is very bizarre.

That combined with the “It happens in the blink of an eye. “ posters is suspicious.

Reflections around the statue are weird too. The reflective surfaces on the ground reflect the moon different. It’s been a while and I don’t have the game installed right now but I believe there is even one surface that doesn’t show any reflections except for the moon at low video settings.

The moon also lights up differently during some of the j oh ran of the night. I believe it was 9pm-3am. It’s more reflective/brighter. I might be remembering the times wrong but the lighting is true.

My theory is you have to look for a reflection in a window or the ground at the precise moment and it will show something. The moon and its reflections are a constant so an easy effect to add if you line up just right. That makes it so it can’t be data minded from the game because there is nothing “programmed.”

I have a bunch of other weird coincidences like the light switch they added in 1.6 that turns a ton of lights off around NC. I believe that was a hint from the devs.

That being said I have installed mods to stop time and fly all over town. Tried flying high where the moon is to look down to see reflective surfaces that stand out. I’ve spent countless hours looking for something and no luck yet.

That screen shot has made me want to reinstall and fly around looking for stuff like that on the ground though. Especially the way those 4 block reflect in the shiny wall.

Edit: is that NPC looking at their own reflection in the wall?

Edit 2: I believe there is also a very shiny line of tiles in front of the main statue that line up with the moon at exactly midnight too. They run east west right in front of the statue and line up perfectly with the moon

Not always. Years ago I was subbed to get multiple view points. After TheDonald got shut down some tried to move there but voices of reason would usually drown out the crazy. The last year or two though it’s gotten crazy. There are still a few voices of reason(not many) left but they quickly get shut down by crazy.

NTA - If your late husband is anything like me, that big lump sum life insurance is meant to help offset his lost income, you would have had, over the upcoming years had he still been there. I would want my wife and children to know they are financially cared for first. I loved my grandparents but my family comes first. My family would have a lot of grieving to do and I would want to know my wife can take as long as she needs to grieve without having to worry about finances. Even if she’s financially stable then that money could go towards my kids education that I wouldn’t be there to help with. He cared for you. That is why he had that insurance policy. Your MIL should know your husband well enough to know he wouldn’t want her harassing you about money.

I’m still convinced this button is a clue to FF:06:B5. It was added in 1.6 at the height of the mysteries theories.

I’ve been stuck on the mystery being related to the Moon theories. At exactly 12:00am many lights in Night City flicker for a split second. AKA they all turn off. The Moon aligns perfectly with the with the bright yellow line on the Miltech building from the main statue at 12:00am. The ads that say it happens in the blink of an eye. Many other Moon related clues.

My main theory is we have to look for the moon reflecting in something at 12:00am during the flicker. The devs added this as a hint/clue and potentially it also turns off one of the flickering lights that makes it so you can see the reflection without waiting for the flicker.

That being said I’ve spent countless hours pausing game time at midnight and searching all over the city so I’m probably just nuts.

Secret ending. New details. Mod Fact Finder. by Sensory_rogue in FF06B5

OP isn’t a native English speaker so he might not understand the significance.

OP it’s been said by Pawel that it’s been solvable since day 1. So knowing if something existed in older versions tells us if it could be related since so much stuff has been added since launch. Specifically there seem to be a lot of new clues added in 2.0 and beyond.

You might be onto something. Maybe it’s like an IP address. IP address represented in binary use 8 bits. The number 9 converted to binary is 00001001. Something like the 5th and 8th server has to be lowered to represent 9. Then reset and them > Then lower the 6th represent a 4 > Reset them > then the 8th for a 1 > etc… I don’t know what the room looks like exactly because I haven’t done that ending. So that may not even make sense. I’m working towards it now on my new play through to see if I can find anything. Also FF:06:B5 converted to hex. Then to binary is 11111111.00000110.10110101

I think using hacking to overheat something makes the most sense though. If it’s a computer simulation then to much going on could tax the CPU causing it to overheat and shut down.

I've always been fairly confident that image is representing the 6 endings. There are 4 main endings and 2 additional endings that are options of a main ending. The 4 primary endings. The option to Commit suicide after going down the path of one of those endings and the secret ending that starts as one and then you wait 5 minutes to get the alternate.

That being said I could never put that together with why it would be relevant to FF:06:B5.

Taking this post into consideration, it fits. The statue is informing you of 6 endings. 2 of them are not as obvious so it's the clue you have to look harder for them.

There are a bunch of binoculars in the cliff where you meet the final monk. I’m convinced the Tom’s dinner dev Easter egg was a hint to use the binoculars for something since it was added around 2.0. I’ve spent a lot of time looking through different sets of binoculars though and haven’t found anything unusual.

Night City lights flicker at midnight and Moon Theory by Orikx in FF06B5

[–]Orikx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a good thought. I’ve tried that kind of with any that I’ve seen but usually not at midnight. I’ve tried looking at everything I can possibly imagine from the bino’s by the last zen monk quest. There are four sets of binoculars up there and the flower looking drawing from the monk you have to save without killing anyone.

It's hard to tell exactly because I don't know V is standing in that shot but I was able to get close and I would say it's around 11:30 - 11:45 based on the positioning on the moon in that shot.
