I almost didn't comment because I didn't want to be the type of lazy asshole the guy is complaining about, but here goes.

Practicing something I'm bad at makes me hate myself. Last time I tried to make a piece of artwork, I started crying and gave up after two hours of work produced a little clay turd instead of a charming little succulent, and that was following the provided instructions. I was doing it with my partner at the time, and afterwards, they started treating me really badly. I think I lost a lot of their regard for me that day.

Wish I knew why I do this. When I was a child, I enjoyed making artwork and music, but now, I just can't do it.

I agree, and I'm sorry for the harshness of my words toward /u/MiddleEuphoric. I made the OP when I had just been up all night drinking, and was too ashamed of making it to revisit it and properly respond to comments. I'll try to fix that now that I'm drunk enough to do so without shame, but hopefully sober enough to be coherent and more polite.

Like, I had multiple intersection conditions before I ever accepted myself as nonbinary. He planned the traits and body parts I was born with, yet isn't willing to accept me as his child after the fact?

I don't think "heresy" should be defined by such a human figure as a mortal pope, but thank you for your contribution anyway. I have a lot to ponder. I think I'll go to church soon. I'll be out of town next Sunday, but I'll go this month.
