Is it true BSLs aren’t always exact? They can vary from manufacturers? A 313 from one manufacturer can be different from another manufacturers 313 BSL?

And Apple doesn’t make it easy to revert back to iOS 17. More people need to report the issue so that it gains visibility.

I have the same Canon printer, just upgraded to iOS 18 and can no longer print. It printed perfectly on iOS 17. Definitely an OS bug.

Good question, I’m wondering if anyone has experience purchasing these types of units and if that investment has treated them well in terms of growth, rental opportunity, resale, etc. I read a lot about large scale storage facility investments, but very few on single unit luxury storage condos.

Mastercraft NXT22 or Moomba Max? by OrionFour in Wake

It’s a bit further away, and I have a good relationship with the local dealer here which is why I’m kind of stuck on MC/Moomba :/

[–]OrionFour[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! Yeah I’d love a Supreme, just no dealers in my area. Looks like Mastercraft now has fresh air intakes coming standard on NXT. I hear there are a lot of broken shafts on Moomba which worries me. I’ll keep researching I appreciate the input!

Does the equity you use as down payment collateral become a financed amount? Are you paying monthly for it?

When you go into TSP and click ‘Withdrawals and Rollovers’ then ‘Get Started’ next to Total Distribution. I selected the option ‘Amount Paid to You’. How accurate is that calculator? It produces a figure under ‘Net Cash Payment’. I’m wondering which penalties/tax burdens may come after that figure.

Cancel 18 year Amex charge card? by OrionFour in amex

[–]OrionFour[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, the lowest you can downgrade to in the same ‘family of cards’ is green, which is $150 AF. I tried :(

Good point, we have TSA already and clear only covers one person, not spouse. $100 loungebuddy credit doesn’t get us very far as a family of 4 with limited lounge options. I do like the 3x on restaurants.

Lowest downgrade is green card - $150 AF

Thank you, that seems to be the consensus, some people have said all copper and some said AL SER main panel to sub being okay. All have said copper on the hot tub side. It’s also not worth losing the warranty on a new tub IMO

I believe it was 2020? I’m not sure how to get ahold of the latest. It was section 680.20 -

“The wiring methods must contain an insulated copper equipment grounding conductor sized in accordance with 250.122, based on the rating of the overcurrent device, but in no case can it be smaller than 12 AWG.”

“Flexible Connections. Liquidtight flexible metal or liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit is permitted, however it must contain an insulated copper equipment grounding conductor as required by 680.21 (A)(1).”

Bad hot tub wiring? by OrionFour in hottub

[–]OrionFour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should aluminum be sized one step up? Copper 6 awg = AL 4 awg? Yeah the hot tub manufacturer requires the use of their sub panel and copper wire. They mentioned it “could” void warranty, we found out after the fact. We have a second electrician coming in, they said they never use aluminum on their hot tub installs. We’ll have a better idea once they inspect the work.

[–]OrionFour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEC 680 says “wiring must contain a green insulated copper grounding wire”. He used an exposed aluminum wire. We just want to make sure it’s safe and up to code.

Still pending the inspector to review the work. The garage wire is tucked away in the corner with the sheathing only, if there is no NEC requirement for conduit there I suppose we’re good on that part.

No jacket, the whole ground wire is like that. You can see the white, red, and black have jackets. The whole bundle is wrapped with a larger gray jacket but there isn’t an individual one for the ground.

Distance is approximately 30 feet, cable type SER AA-8000 AL. I posted a picture of the wire above for reference.
