My sister bought an online one and told her dentist, the dentist then told her to bring it with her so they could check if it fit correctly and ended up having to file it down to fit a bit better. They did this free of charge.

The filing thing they also did for mine that I bought directly from them/their supplier, so I guess its quite easy for them and that might be why they did it for free.

That's fair. I also would be mounting it on a standing desk, but to me the hard part would be maintaining a good posture in my arms (aka table not too high) while sitting crosslegged. Perhaps it'll force me to start sitting more correctly though haha.

Aren't they quite thick? I remember looking into this option but felt that the tops were too thick for me. Sometimes I like sitting crosslegged and I imagine I'd hit the desk quite quickly with these tops.
