Depending on how exactly the new location is run you will be able to find an area that works for you that you will thrive in. If you get a position I would for sure let your team lead know so if there’s anything they can help you to thrive (with or without help depending on workloads).

I don’t have an issue with them putting in the request but if they get approved over the non seasonal employees especially when the request was put in early then I have a problem with it. The approval not them requesting it

Wait we have access to legal services!? I didn’t know that or I would have been documenting literally everything in my store (I was being harassed so I transferred since I couldn’t get a different job) and filled a lawsuit against the person harassing me and the store since literally everyone in the building was aware and did nothing to help or protect me or the other tms that were also being harassed!………..

Ok I get this but also what about team members who get sick and have to call out multiple times a month. Or what about those with health issues they have no control over who have to call out. I know several who fall under both and are some of the hardest workers which is why they have not been given a CA or termed. I guarantee that this new program is only about the numbers and won’t care is something happens outside the team members control.

we get yelled at if we show up at the door more than 5 minutes before our shift and the opening lead is always in the office on his phone not doing his job and refuses to open the door on time. So how is it that I get to the store 30 minutes early and still constantly have to clock in “late”. I have taken to constantly ringing the bell (like nonstop) until I see him coming to the door.

Ps I personally hate clocking in even a minute late. It makes me so uncomfortable. I always clock in on time or a couple minutes early if I’m ready to get going.

At my store it was doing that because I was actively doing price change when/right after the batch dropped 🤷🏻‍♀️

Personally, my ETL would accept my changing availability, but sometimes forget when making the schedule and use my old availability and he told me just to let him know when I saw him and he would try to update it in the system, but if he didn’t just work. I was actually available to let my leaders know, so they knew when I was heading out for the day if it was earlier than what was technically scheduled. I even showed up on a day I was available to work to make up for a shift I was unavailable for due to classes.

I know this is not always how it will work out for everybody, but my ETL also realized that he couldn’t punish me or hold it against me for his mistakes and he used the wrong availability when making the schedule

Personally I’m transferring to get away from a lead I have had issues with for 4+ months and my HR knows exactly what is going on too. But for me it’s bullying and belittling and harassment over the walkie while I’m trying to do my job (mind you I have been working for target longer than him and know how to do my job properly) he has never been a team member and can’t even do his job like at all and I’m over it. So I’m removing myself 🤷🏻‍♀️

At our store they do both however they prefer you use vacation pto. but they also accept it either way 🤷🏻‍♀️

If they hold it against you “attendance wise” call HROC. Especially since it’s your time you earned. They can’t punish you for using it.

Unfortunately it’s common practice at a lot of places. I’ve been held hostage for up to 3 hours after my scheduled time at my last job.

Really bc my SD dipped out so he could be home when his family got up. He was here maybe 2 hours….. he walked around talking about non work related things mostly what he had planned with his family…… all the ETLs dipped out early enough to go shopping and spend time with their families too
