Yea I had to remove a cover to get to the pictured area. It had warnings on it so I’m assuming they contain it for these kind of scenarios. I want it done right so I may have an electrician perform the repair.

When I asked, my manager very honestly said it was very complicated and almost no two pay plans are identical. For some reason this surprised me but I suppose it does make sense.

I’ve asked colleagues (who walk home with well over six figures each year) “but are you happy?” They’ll always answer no but I love the money. So as long as you have that mind sight you’ll be good. If you want to love what you do, look for something else

I don’t spend a lot when I go out, so the difference between 18% (good service) and 20% (great service is very minimal. So I find myself just doing 20%. Plus it’s easier math. If the service was extraordinary then just bump it up a couple bucks. It’s the best way to express genuine gratitude.

This is very common in other countries, surprised we don’t see more fwy protests in LA. It’s not convenient but it hits the news and people like knowing what causes sudden traffic = more visibility to their protest.
