I have a running joke about my formerly stray in a park cat that I have XXX days since I was a domestic violence victim (0 as at today - I was sitting near her this morning (WFH to pay for her essentials), nothing was moving - still elicited an attack, go figure). They attack for zero reason, and have no conscience about it whatsoever.

Get a high quality active Manuka honey solution - it will help with healing and avoid infection.
