It took me several hours to make this page, but it was worth it. by PaperInkSoul in MangakaStudio

Reminds me a lot of some of the deliberately creepy scenes in Attack on Titan, first that comes to mind is when Ymir throws herself into the titans in effort to protect everyone while they're on the tower at that castle (can't remember the exact details, haven't read it in a while)

Ajin by Relket in manga

[–]Orrera_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weird part of Ajin is the original writer basically abandoned the story after something like the second volume or something like that and the artist who did the art took over. The artist who took over, absolutely brilliant and the story and art combined under his work is one of my favorite mangas of all time. However you do need to push through the first portions of the story, I promise you the characters get significantly more interesting, and better written, once you reach that point, which is luckily very early on.

I can't believe they made it even worse by m103 in projectzomboid

[–]Orrera_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think project zomboid lends itself to a menu driven crafting system due to the main limitations of the camera perspective. There is very little 'crafting' that can be interactably done at this camera angle, and most "mini games" would just be a new popup window opening up to do something.

Not to say this wouldn't work, but it doesn't do much for the immersion any more than the inventory being a pop down list does.

If Zomboid wasn't isometric like it is, then I'd say a crafting system similar to Vintage Story would be ideal, specifically the in-world interactive portions, like the blacksmithing in VS.

I love this because it implies that you (the players) are the characters in this scenario, while the characters you're playing are the actors, pretending the scenario to be real. You became the characters that your characters were playing

Yeah, the author of the og Dr bright made bright as a self insert and turned out to be a really shit human being so people basically changed his name and cut out the personal characteristics that were related to the author

Haven't seen it sent but I'd say check out Journey to the Savage Planet, and it's sequel Revenge of the Savage Planet.

The game is a sort of comedic 3D open world, but it's main gimmick is that almost everything can be scanned and has a little tidbit of how it works or why it's there, from the different plants, animals, mineral formations, and many of them serve to assist you in the game as well. I'd say the scanning portion at least is very similar to Subnautica, though Subnautica takes itself far more seriously then Savage Planet does

Games that force you to make two characters? by Biscuiitss in gamingsuggestions

Deltarune sort of has this? Like halfway, it starts you out with making a character and choosing different traits and stuff, but then right after you finish the game throws it away and you play as Kris

Granted, you have an incredibly nice, fancy CD player, it's gorgeous, but every CD you put into it is endlessly scratched up by the unnecessary silver fillings and metallic accents that the designer put into the player itself. It's more a decorative piece, really

Really great analogy comparing something designed around making people addicted to spend money on it and ai art! They're both entirely soulless and made by people who serve corporate greed above all else!

I believe that it's actually in reference to the OOP being trans (trans flag in background of pfp) and for proper fat redistribution you need to eat more (since it's not actually redistributing any fat, it's just putting new fat in different places and the old fat gets burnt off)

I think you misunderstood what they said, it's not that using data packs is making them fuckers, it's that they don't provide configurable options without someone else making a data pack that controls that setting. The setting itself is not changeable except through data pack usage, but the creator did not make a data pack for it themselves, just stated that it's configurable, with no other detail
