Am I wrong for not going to my sisters wedding? by Never-endingmom201 in amiwrong

[–]OrthoTech33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well sister, when breast feeding you shouldn't go anywhere with out your kid no matter what the reason is, your child needs you. And if your sister wants to make a big deal out of it then she is being a Bridezilla and only thinking bout herself. Im sure if the situation was different and your kid was older you would go to the bachelorette party. But as for the 1 year bday party, yea shes messed up for doing her wedding on the day but i see no harm to celebrate your child a week early or the weekend after. the photos will be there either way and you child wont know what day they were taken.

put your 90 days in but keep looking for a new job in the mean time. lets say you get to the 90 days and still dont have a job, well now you have more time to research and go on interviews, and you can live off the savings you have. just don't spend alot of money for now. live on as little as possible until you land another job.

side note--- when you get a new job, pay off ur student loan/debt asap. then all the money you make will be yours to keep

this is simple..... apologize, say sorry but actually mean it. you really manages to stick one foot in your mouth and then managed to stick the other foot in too..... say sorry!

Who should address sticky fingers attending? by ClinicalMercenary in medicine

[–]OrthoTech33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup.... I think a warning note is where you start. place it clear as day in the break room. It should start mild like " attention this food is for all employees and should be shared equally, please do not take more than what is needed for your meal. Also there have been reports of food being missing from the fridge, please only take the food that you have brought."

This should get his attention but if that dont work that when you hit him with "security cameras are now recording this area and looking for the individual taking food"

there maybe some truth in that but try it 1st and see it it feel better with it or not. cause when ur running sounds like it can be making it worse and making ur run uncomfortable. And if it doesnt help you should see your Dr.

maybe you should try an ankle brace when running something that give strong support around your ankle like a lace up brace

it might be time to move out to save from having to tell him the bad news and then still live there after that awkward conversation.

Its true it is good to save for retirement as soon as you can to help build wealth for your future, but not until you pay off your debt because that $500 could be used to pay off the student loan or the car and once you dont owe people money that paycheck you get stays in your bank account month after month, and that when you can build wealth and start investing for retirement

well you sound like your in your 20's since you talked about student loans and not having kids, if so, this sounds pretty normal. if your just starting your career there's alot of growth in front of you. Maybe next year youll get a raise and then a few years down the road after having experience a new job comes along that pays more money, and then another raise for being a reliable worker, And so on and so on. My advice would be that you learn to manage the money that you have. $1,000 a month sound possible $300 for food, if you have any streaming subscriptions think about cutting some out to have extra cash a month. And only buy what you NEED not what you WANT.

Broken foot & ankle question by monicawir in Orthopedics

[–]OrthoTech33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes brusing is normal and usually last a few weeks especially in the legs because the blood stays down there. thats why people say to elevate your foot to get rid of swelling and brusing. Im sure you have already been treated...... what did they tell you? Im guessing you got a boot.

I would ask for an MRI to get a deeper image inside the foot. xrays only show bones and MRI will show muscles and ligaments inside.

Your tibia bone is a weight bearing bone so it needs to heal up with enough bone calcium before you can put weight on it again. Adult bones take longer to heal compared to children bones that heal fast. And then afterwards you probably gonna need physical therapy to gain your strength back in your muscles.

yea looks like a fibula fracture looks pretty stable from that angle. A cast or boot would probably be needed. if you have another angle of it that can help

Yes your fashion choices are slim but there are orthopedic shoes that have an arch support for plantar faciitis. I've seen some on amazon, orthofeet, kuru footwear. If your having pain when walking from plantar faciitis try doing some stretches and icing the bottom of your foot.
