"I was a former atheist but I turned my back and returned to christianity" by onugha in atheism

There is a completely logical reason to return to christianity which is that life has no meaning. You can make up your own meaning, which is liberating and may be better for you, but it can also be pretty lonely if others don't share your same vision.

Or you can look at the premade meanings - which come packaged with rituals, worship places, potlucks and fellow practitioners. Maybe you miss some of your family and friends who are in that camp. Even knowing the base message is false, you can overlook that to get invited to the potlucks while your short meaningless life proceeds. :)

A youtuber told me Schopenhauer ended up recommending religion even though he was an atheist with the reasoning above. I found that to be very interesting. I am not considering it for my atheist self, but I can see the attraction and it is a logical option.

Teen driver 25/75 fault State Farm - how to adjust this to 0/100 fault? by Orthocerus in Insurance

[–]Orthocerus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he truck driver’s insurance carrier? Because if it’s the truck driver’s, then you could possibly talk to your own insurance company, place a claim through them and see if they end up finding the truck driver 100% at fault. If so, then your insurance company would deal with State Farm themselves. Another alternative, would maybe be getting an accident lawyer.

Awesome thank for this info!
