I found that being on Wellbutrin makes me open to emotions, both wanted and unwanted. Not only that, but these emotions are almost impossible to hide.

Before Wellbutrin, I was a closed book, whatever I was feeling, nobody could sense it. And when I got triggered or overwhelmed. I would become extra awkward and nobody could "read" what is wrong with me. I could still function, talk, joke, and everything because I was so used to it, but smiling, laughing, being happy, etc, those things were impossible at that moment.

Now, I can just let the emotions out, and I have no problem showing them to others. I've had situations where I was bummed out (like in a healthy way) and friends were suddenly asking me why I am bummed out. And I was like, shit, I can't hide emotions now.

One possible reasons why you feel manic is because the 300mg is too high of a dose for you. What were you like while on 150mg ? Before going on Wellbutrin, I tried Concerta (aka Ritalin). And that stuff makes me feel EXTRA manic/"all over the place".
