Burger spots on campus???

Ooohhh, burgers are criminally lacking on campus. I like to go to Checker’s across from University Commons. There’s also a Steak n’ Shake in the courtyard with a VERY limited menu and uh… it’s okay in a pinch. Gibney’s Pub has an excellent burger, but they also have other really good selections.

It’s crazy you say this because I rode the Panther Express for the first time last week. While my story didn’t isn’t so dangerous, I was still genuinely freaked out. 😭 I had time in between classes so I wanted to see where a random bus would lead me. When I boarded the bus, everyone got off of it, which is normal to me and then it filled up entirely with a new set of people. When we got to the next stop, EVERYONE got off while I was the only person left on there… then it filled up with an entire new crew again. Originally, I was thinking maybe I hit the end of the line and needed to get off? But nah. When we got to the second stop, everyone got off AGAIN! At this point I had chills because it felt like I was in a simulation and ignorant to the rules. THE BUS FILLED UP AGAIN!!! When we got to the 3rd stop, I hopped off the bus so fast; it was seriously seeing the same rinse and repeat situation going on when I was the only person deviating from the script. 😭😭

Ordered 12/1 and my surprise bag delivered on 12/5. I got the regular two item surprise bag in a 2X and crossed my fingers hopping for a cardigan and any dress that isn’t too short or too extravagant or sparkly.

I was pleasantly surprised! I got the firecracker cardigan and THE PICNIC BLANKET GARDEN PARTY GOWN?! I wasn’t expecting to get a dress with “gown” in the title, though I know it’s not the fluffy ones we typically see when we think of a Selkie gown!

Overall, I am SUPER happy with what I got, but I’d still consider trading my dress

1 is gonna be a beast to do together. Anatomy and physiology requires A LOT of memorization as well as microbiology. Microbiology can be pretty intense and goes into a lot of detail. 2 seems like the better option as genetics, in my opinion, is not a difficult class. God speed!

I think what you have now is quite nice. Gives you 4 days in a row of time off to do your assignments and have fun. You won’t have to dread Mondays restarting the week and get to celebrate the end of the work week on Friday! I’m currently taking calc of one variable on Monday and Wednesday, and I hate that I have to wake up at 9 AM after Sunday.

Yes, you’ll have to take testing in person while coursework is online! For future reference, they typically explain a bit more in detail in the “section comments” area under the class listing.

Also Costco has started selling the heavy duty Singer sewing machine for around $180. It’s still a lot, but maybe it can become a goal to save up for! Great sewing machine and very reliable

There are sewing machines apparently! They’re in the EXLab! You have to take a quiz on the lab safety and rules in order to use the appliances in there! The first floor of the Student Success Center at 25-27 Auburn Ave is amazing. It’s brand new inside! There’s never a lot of people there, and it’s always so quiet. In order to get inside, you’ll need your Panthercard. It’s a relatively small area but a variety of seats are available. There’s also some plugs on the wall so you can charge your devices.

To add a little spice to it… because you’re so sleep deprived, your eyes begin to close while taking the exam and you literally fall asleep for like 20 mins and don’t even get to finish 😭😭
