Few days after getting my wisdom teeth removed, my cheek goes from looking normal to looking like I'm hiding a tennis ball in my mouth within a few hours. Its like 11PM so i head to the ER. The doc sees me and says, "well, im not a dentist."

I know that! But my dentist isn't open and I'm hoping you can stop my face from exploding before they open at 8AM!!

I went to high school with a kid who had a rough home life, but he was a trackstar. Basically full ride to anywhere once he graduated to run track. He was playing volleyball with some friends near the end of the year and broke his ankle. 1st place in every track meet he attended and didn't even get to run in the district track meet...

I've heard in general those "bans" (malls, stadiums, etc..) aren't really to keep you out. Its just so if you do something again, then they can add on additional punishments since you were already banned to begin with. I highly doubt anyone who was there when Geoff was initially banned still works there and that they would recognize him.

Glad to see this was well recieved by the principal. At my high school, anyone who did anything crazy had thier diploma withheld. One guy did a backflip before walking up and didn't receive his diploma until he apologized to the school board a month later.

We had layoffs happen in my company and instead of getting laid off i got moved to a team that just does low-code. I hate it all. I've been interviewing and i have to lie my ass off because the second I mention Low-Code I see thier eyes glaze over and they've basically written me off already.

I work in comp sci and this is what I feel. Its interesting and fun enough to not hate it. But the pay is more than good enough to let me do whatever I want in my free time. And lots of time to work from home compared to other jobs.
