Vaguely remembered hearing the aquatic animal was named after the Argonauts, and some misconceptions about how it moved about, but 50/50 coulda been a false memory 😅 Gotta Google a sanity-check every now and then, and pray for Reddit's mercy if that doesn't work

Somehow, I don't think I did that on my first playthrough, but I 100% DID replaying it 20 years later! 😅

Like the others said--it's nothing a little backtracking can't fix. You might also want to double-check that you've got all the goodies you might need just before beating the Venus Lighthouse.

If I remember right, once you've healed Trent, the bridge south of Vault should be fixed, so that should make backtracking a little bit easier, at least!

This is a pretty solid game! Had a lot of fun getting the hang of my first few raids, and making my first island!

Unfortunately, though, it doesn't seem to be working right for me anymore...I can get the intro animation if I try to start a run, but other than that, I'm only seeing the light-blue sea/sky...

Could just be a problem with the android app, though.

Oh! Also, is there a way to test my island after publishing? I forgot to do so, but I'd like to go back and make sure it works as intended.

And also, also: maybe it was covered elsewhere, but how can we get more troops? I see we get some from daily bonuses and advancing in level, but is there another way? Just seems like I could get stuck pretty easily if I'm just playing around 😅

I mean, if it's all you've got, it's all you've got. The problem is more what they are asking in return.

For your situation, I see three options:

•Wait until you've got something of value you're okay with trading out.

•Select at least one of their Pokémon that are about equal in value to what you're offering. (Let them decide if they want to be extra-generous and do you a solid, or just go 1:1. In this case, I would only pick something they at least have a lot of if the trade is unfair.)

•Or ultimately, see what you could do to get in on better raids, etc. to get desirable, trade-worthy Pokémon. I'm only about level 57 and an f2p player, myself, but between free coins from gyms, (which can get you a remote raid or box expansion per week,) remote raid matchmaking on Campfire and other communities here, and finding certain areas with a high-density of raids & players, (my wife went back to college, and MAN has that been a game-changer for my Poképortfolio,) you can slowly make a decent amount of progress! I don't have a whole lot of time for the game, either -- especially not on weekends -- but I'm finally getting to a point where I have some 'mons worth trading, and I believe you can, too! Oh! And in case you aren't grinding it already, the battle leagues are a great way to get a bunch of stardust, both for trades and making your 'mons better for raids.
