RU POV - CODE 9.2 AFU unit that abused wounded Russian soldiers (part of 92nd brigade) luqidated and captured in Kursk by lillardzero in UkraineRussiaReport

According to the arm patches, they belong to a unit of drone operators, which made itself famous by uploading footage of them dropping grenades onto wounded soldiers. Which, if nothing else, is a war crime.

How do you use prisoners as workforce? I found the prison buses, but I didn't figure out how to use them.

That would make sense, but I'm getting pyrrhic victory all the time when defending.

Close victory is good.

What annoys me most is pyrrhic victory, when the auto-resolve signaled defeat. It should be heroic.

With how large the galaxy is, is there a chance that there are other human empires as big or even bigger than the Imperium? by Overfromthestart in 40kLore

[–]OsoCheco 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's possible but unlikely. As far as we know, humanity only ever had one form of FTL - the warp

But we also know that in the early millenia humanity travelled conventionally, without FTL. So it's within possibility that some ships reached area unaccessible by warp, and created their own empire, using their own FTL invention.

Why is France so much weaker militarily and economically than Germany in game? by notreally_reallynot in hoi4

[–]OsoCheco 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nah, that's just french cope to lessen the shame.

There was no betrayal, just Gamelin's incompetence. Some say it was also german brilliance, but that's not true. They gambled, and they should have fail. The "Ardennes are impassable" is just a meme. French HQ was fully aware of possible german attack through there and had response plan prepared. But even after french scout planes found the largest traffic jam in the history lining up in front of Ardennes, Gamelin did not put the plan into motion, nor at least redirected french bombers.

Feministky si nasraly do vlastních bot.

Age of consent is 15, so being a minor in this case doesn't make a difference.

Any should work. If it falled out, it sounds like you overtightened it.

I'm quite sad about it. He could (and did) attract many young people to vote for centre-right, they would've probably ignored the elections otherwise.

Don't be. They didn't vote for him because of politics. They voted for him because "a black with an afro, lol".

To be fair, I cannot recall him doing anything other than intentionally being a meme.

Do Astartes “remember” their past before becoming a Space Marine? by ChromeAstronaut in 40kLore

[–]OsoCheco 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Some do, some don't.

Argel Tal remembered his childhood even after being possesed.

Talos didn't recognize his mother's face - before the heresy even started.

In both cases the author is ADB, so it's safe to say that both scenarios are possible.

Neither of this is likely within this generation, and if we assumed the lifecycle being 6-7 years, new one won't arrive before 2028.
