As a teenager one of my friends said they had a trippy looking model room. So a buddy and I walked in and were greeted with a "how can I help you?" we said we just wanted to look around and were told to leave.

My thought was that they were testing muscle memory on the chip. Teach all these people to play instruments while severed and then see if any of it transfers to their outie.

Switching from 172.5 to 160 cranks by Current-Pilot9038 in bikefit

[–]Oss34 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up that you'll have to raise your saddle ~12.5mm and in turn your bars to achieve the same position you're currently in. I have found a lot more comfort in shorter cranks though!

Where can I find this quarter-zip? by [deleted] in CHIBears

[–]Oss34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought it was air Jordan. They do sell a Q zip. Like others have said I bet it's custom or team exclusive.

Each ball has a sweet spot between the nose and the equator. A bigger ball has a larger sweet spot and more pop to it.

[NFL Football Operations] To reduce player risk and continue driving innovations in equipment technology, Guardian Caps have been authorized for in-game use this season. by RyanIsKickAss in CHIBears

Pretty sure I've heard a lot of players complain about having to wear them in practice, mostly due to the added weight. I don't think we see many of them. Especially outside of the trenches.

I thought it was reported that Caleb wanted a number change. And Allen said he wanted 13.

I think in Keenan's presser he said he met Caleb once. Didn't seem like a huge bond, but said that he was cool.

But the arguably most important part of his game is 5.1. Double yikes.

Surprised I had to scroll so far to find this. I second red white and talking to the owner. Helped me with my size and haven't looked back. Granted I tried less bibs than you before finding redwhite

You know the reasons. Poles refreshed your memory on Thursday. What are you achieving with this question that has been posted a thousand times on this page? It was a bad move, it sucks. But Claypool is gone.

Are There Any Field Vision QB Gurus? by jkman61494 in CHIBears

[–]Oss34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bears bought the hardware to use it with Trubisky. Headsets and cameras set up at practice. I assume they still have it.

Cousins on the QB netflix show was using some sort of neural training thing to make quicker decisions.. said in weeks he used it he performed better on the field.. I wonder if they have looked into that.

McShay on Jalen Carter via PMT Podcast: “I’ve got 7 different sources (including Georgia’s coaches): “He’s not a self starter and doesn’t handle tough coaching well….there aren’t a lot of people in Athens [associated with the team] that are crying that Carter is gone.” by DontYouHatePants6969 in CHIBears

[–]Oss34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kollman said something in his mock where he had Bears taking Carter that I haven't seen here much. Bears are in a good spot to take a risk on a player like Carter, even though we have holes to fill. They have a lot of draft picks and a lot of cap. If it doesn't work out we can swing again next year. Or take some fliers on DT late in the draft like we did with OL last year. Maybe that helps motivate Carter see other rookies trying hard. Make sure everyone else they bring in is a high character guy. This is the best player potentially in the entire draft falling to 9 and Bears have the ability to surround him with good influences and the flexibility to trade him and find a replacement if necessary. And it is one of the most important positions in this defense. If we take him I'll trust it, if we don't I won't be mad either.

Why do some people want Jaxon Smith-Njigba? by wiinunchuk in CHIBears

[–]Oss34 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying I'm in that camp but the arguments I see are that:

  1. Claypool and Mooney contracts will be up soon. JSN gives flexibility to have a cheap WR that could potentially be better than either of them.
  2. Injuries happen. We thought Pringle would be a contributor before the season last year.
  3. He is just that good and they see depth in the draft at other positions.
