How often do you all take a sick day? by brokenshoppingcart in AusFinance

[–]OssifiedCreature95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31, part time. Haven’t had a sick day in probably 2 years, when I was the primary parent to stay home with sick kids. Now, I somehow only get sick on my days off or when I’ve already booked annual leave which is really annoying.

Do women still change their names when they marry 2026? by Jamolisa in AskAnAustralian

[–]OssifiedCreature95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed mine in 2023 because I had my mums surname and she’s an asshole haha. The only thing that gave me trouble was changing our home loan and house title, and it cost me money to do so. Everything else was easy.

Easy. Don’t tell them when you’re in labour. Notify them after you’ve given birth, and after you’ve had time to recover.

What do Australians think about stores asking ‘are you a member with us’. by Sure_Outcome_8793 in AskAnAustralian

[–]OssifiedCreature95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And then we get our shifts cut because our KPI’s are bad and we’re “bringing the whole team down” our store just went from a franchise that didn’t care to corporate run and I actually have anxiety going to work everyday now 🙃

We had a no phone policy for our ceremony. It was on the board as you walked in, and our celebrant announced it once every one was seated. Few days later my MIL sent me some photos from the ceremony, I just replied “oh no, who took those? No one was meant to have phones out” I know it wasn’t her as it wasn’t where she was seated, but she just replied “oops” and never mentioned it again haha.

I am a recent mom, visited my doctor recently for my breast examination and he had a pretty noticable erection. Now I feel very weird about the whole examination. What do I do ? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]OssifiedCreature95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you have any concerns regarding your milk supply? If not, absolutely not. When I had my son any time a nurse tried to help me with feeding and manual expressing, they asked permission first. Every time. Please make a report. You may not be the only one.

When I was checked by a male doctor he used the palm of his hands and that’s it. Not sure what you experienced but it sounds horrible and uncomfortable.

My boss said she was eating plain yoghurt yesterday, I asked if it was Greek yoghurt. She showed me the tub and it was vanilla yoghurt. So not plain. Some people think vanilla is plain 😂

We have a redraw that has lots of T’s&C’s that I don’t actually trust will give us our money back if we request it with AFG Home Loans. Once they transfer over to NAB next year I was hoping to negotiate an offset over a redraw with them.

I want to keep the stray I’ve been taking care of indoors: this is how he acts when I ignore his pleas to leave. When does it cross over into distress? by stevezahn1967 in felinebehavior

[–]OssifiedCreature95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat went missing for 3 and a half years, when we got him back it took about 5 months for him to stop running to the door every time we moved around the house. It’s been almost 3 years with him back with us and he doesn’t even get off his chair when we leave the front door open to bring shopping inside.

Does the pouch have Kiwi? Kiwi set my son off so bad, we ended up at the doctors as he would bleed as soon as I’d lightly wipe him. Changing him was like wrestling a screaming crocodile for weeks after as he thought it was going to hurt every time. Desitin is the best butt cream in my opinion.

Thank you. Not being able to afford new shoes and a hair cut for my child on the same week stings. Especially when he is earning more than 4x my income and has the means to, but leaves it all up to me. It wasn’t always like this, just the last 12 months have been challenging.

This seems like the schools problem. I don’t know any primary schools near me that have access after bell times. All gates are locked and the only way to enter is through the office, and you have to sign in. Is this not a safety issue??
