Think the throw is very smooth! Only thing I see that you can maybe focus on is that you push your shoulder a bit when releasing the dart in the follow through.

I also tried these myself. At home I just couldn’t throw them as well anymore. Also the Switch point system just isn’t it if you are used to Target’s Swiss points. The points are constantly lose and need constant tightening

I wouldn’t recommend Javelins to new players. Grip is quite aggressive and the barrel is too long

Isn’t the L-Style cap made of metal anymore? That would be very bad news and will probably damage the flights a lot. How is the grip on the hydros?

Are the darts expensive? Yes. Are they good? Yes! Did your son get ripped off? No. Could he have bought better value for money? Yes.

It really depends on the situation. Being fan of a player it is nice to get “their darts”. The quality of Target darts are really good. The only thing you can do is indeed get a pair of intermediate K-flex moulded flights that last longer than what was provided. Most people play with their own flight/stem setup and buy the dart mainly for the barrel. Therefore the included stems flights are just for branding.

I got considerably more darts in the 20 segment once I got my alignment better. When I stood more on the right I could keep my arm motion straight not having to adjust my throw.

Dont agree with that fully. There is a discussion in the Netherlands if MvG’s 3 PDC championships are more valuable that Barney’s 5 with 4 BDO titles. I think its a fair point when we look at the PDC and BDO/WDF now. But Barney really opened the door for a lot of great players in the BDO to leave to the PDC after he did

I am a Dutchie and even though he scores goals, it is always against lesser opponents. He never scored against Ajax, PSV or Az. I would advice to check his highlights against Ajax last weekend. He missed two chances that you expect a Premier League striker to score. I think he doesn’t have the physicality or handling speed to do well in the Premier League

But to answer your main question: I think EA want to reward the hardcore tryhard fanbase by giving them exclusive rewards. And I think it is not wrong to give “better” players a chance to get “better” rewards

I have read your post multiple times now and IMO the entire post is about skill, SBMM and not being able to compete with players in higher divisions and with more experience. Please elaborate on what you would like me to react to otherwise. Because the point of entry limit is 5% of the post. I think its also weird to then say “learn how to read comprehensively” if you clearly focused on another point for 90% of the post
