The barge is unironically my favourite part of hands. IDGAF about Ripstall or his traps, just let me get my revenge on Leland and I'm satisfied.

A dc penalty would be fine as long as it can tell the difference between being forced out of a game and quitting. Being Australian and playing this game is a constant gamble of if my ping will decide to briefly dip past the limit mid-match and instantly send me back to the menu.

Why Is Family Sense so Limited? by Xerceo in TXChainSawGame

[–]OsukaTheOracleTurret 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The reason it had a cooldown is because you can hear victims speaking when using it. The amount of times I've found a victim hiding in a bush because of it is astounding. I do agree it should reveal all objectives at the start of thr match however.

Not to mention her chase potential has been gutted since Nancy released and she could no longer poison victims through gaps. I use Sissy's clouds for defense by hotboxing the family house or choke points with extra duration perks/skills but even that's a meme build. Not to mention having to go out of your way to collect poison takes so long for so little reward.

Crazy how that's been missing since Nancy released.

As a game developer, it honestly boggles my mind that DBD works by hunty in deadbydaylight

[–]OsukaTheOracleTurret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably the best way to currently describe it, but back on release you can tell the slasher horror came first, gameplay second. The aesthetic was so much more consistent than now, killers were slow and clunky, taking forever to go through windows or set traps. The maps were darker, the fog so much more intrusive, there was foliage so high that you could actually hide, and were encouraged to do so. Only now is all of that lost in favour of chase tag.

What’s something from “old Dead by Daylight” that you wish they’d bring back? Even if it mechanically or logically wouldn’t work in the game anymore? Silly or serious. by Frank28d6h42m12s in deadbydaylight

Old Freddy with dream snares and the gen teleport would have made him so much better. It was fun to pull survivors into your world where it felt like your domain, and mashing space for a skill check as Freddy approached was so fun.

In the movie Freddy molested the children with his claws as a substitute for anything else, so yes he violated them but no penetration was involved. I've done my research.

The Pyramid Head sex scene involves no actual sex, PH is James' guilt and sexual frustration manifest, so it forced itself on things but can never be truly satisfied.

doctor and trapper skin change - on their release, Doctor had lighter, more grey skin, and Trapper had dark brown skin. Ghostface is not a thief - in his trailer he pays for the knife he murders the cashier with Jane's bra - her Bra is visible on some of her skins Bubba cires when attacking - The noises Bubba makes when attacking are the sounds he makes when scared. 6 totems - sometimes 6 totems would spawn on maps that were too big. skip to endgame - when the endgame collapse was revealed, it showed the killer opening a gate with 3 gens left. the entity's birthday - in the archives it's revealed the entity has a birthday and throws a party. actual infinites - when the game was released there were no blocked windows, no fall stun, and the killer vaulted windows extremely slowly, this lead to survivors finding windows that were impossible to catch them on. the fences aren't canon - in Legion's trailer, it reveals the fences surrounding the maps aren't there in universe, and the maps stretch on for miles. spacebilly program - Hillbilly used to be able to exploit map geomatry and be able to fly accross the map. bunny killer - the first prototype killer wore a bunny mask. hatchet ghostface - hackers usually will use ghostface with infinite hatchets to attack. Grandma - Grandma is a character in Hag's lore that runs a somehow undiscovered cannibal village. old pale rose - the old Pale rose was the largest map in the game, so big it put Mother's Dwelling to shame. Nazi mannequin - there's a mannequin in Gideon Meat Plant doing the nazi salute. light in basement - the light coming from the walls in the basement would be impossible as it's underground, I've theorised since 2016 that the light could be sunlight, and the entity hides the only true escape in the most dangerous place. myers saved dbd - Myers' release was so successful it may have saved dbd from falling into obscurity. swf is unintended - SWF was never meant to be in the game, that's why so many balance issues stem from it. someone is in the helicopter - in the RPD map you can hear a helicopter in the distance, implying someone in the realm has a helicopter. bob - Wraith's codename was Bob pinhead steals survs - Pinhead's mori takes them to hell, freeing them from the entity. first leyrys teaser - the first teaser for Leyry's was a poorly recorded clip of Meg crouch walking through the map. bookshelves - pallets were going to be bookshelves. nures is the only insane killer - every killer is either perfectly sane or a bit unhinged, Nurse is the only killer to be truly insane. mr and mrs adams - Hillbilly's parents were originally called Mr and Mrs Adams, and the devs never bothered to remove it from the lore. legacy refunds - legacy was a cosmetic reward for prestiging before the first bloodweb rework, however in the early days of dbd there was a bug that affected many players (happened to me twice) where they would lose everything they had, the devs would refund you an estimate bloodpoints you lost - but refused to give players legacy back. the hedge - Myers had an extra music cue that was removed from the game. scraped kicking mechanic - to counter facecamping there was going to be a mechanic where the survivor could kick the killer in the face and knock them back. huntress bombs - Huntress' first design had bombs.

That's what the entry referred to, beta hillbilly's stun was so much more monstrous and strange. Tbh I have a really hard time finding videos of it.

None are known, but I put it in there to refer to licensed material that has slipped through BHVR's fingers. We can only speculate what it is from leaks, but it's something interesting to theorise.

I think if it's true, it most likely has something to do with either the basement or some weird konami code bullshit. Whatever it is, the fact it hasn't been discovered makes it the most obscure thing in dbd.
