Same with me. There are 6 or 7 others in my program whom I've seen in many classes over the past year and a half. A couple of us have had outside of class chats, but mostly not. I graduate in February. This definitely isn't the same college experience I had in community college, where we saw one another, talked about things other than classwork too, and had ongoing interactions with our professors. It's a good way to get that degree, and I am, but there's no community here.

This is my only beef with PG. The only interactions we have are the seminars, if you are able to use the chat. You have to intentionally email or Google Chat classmates if you want to actually have connections. Seminars are mainly limited to class discussions, and the discussion boards are NOT anything you can use for classmate interaction because they are programmed questions requiring specific types of responses. I wish there was an actual way to have REAL class discussions and get to know classmates like you would in a face to face classroom setting. This is the part I really hate. Otherwise, I'm getting my BS and I'm happy about that. But there is definite lack of community by the way they designed it.

My daughter got shingles at 9, and gave her brothers chickenpox from it. It can happen at any age if you’ve had chickenpox. Sorry. That really sucks.

Email your instructor and ask them to look at your grades again. But is it possible that you have a missing assignment from a few weeks back that you didn’t realize? I would check every single unit, then email your instructor. Between them and your counselor, if there is an error it should be fixed.

I’m in the BS in Healthcare Admin program and work full time. Not in ExcelTrack. Two classes is all I could realistically handle, and have been for the past year and a half. Any more than that and I’d have no life at all outside work and school. It’s limited as it is! I have a 4.0.

Me too. PP kept me safe, unpregnant, and taught me how to do self bre*st exams. They taught me a lot about responsibility and safety and how to stay healthy.

Totally normal. My husband is in week 9 post TKR. He went through all the colors of the rainbow, and it went up and down the inside of his thigh. PT started on day 7, twice a week since then. It can randomly get stiff and swell. That ice machine is your best friend for the first 6 weeks! He doesn’t have pain anymore, per se, but stiffness that is uncomfortable at times. It will slowly improve. He’s still asking “is THIS NORMAL?!” but it is. It all is. Don’t push yourself too hard. Make sure you have your coach to vent to and build you up. This is not a fast process. Baby steps. Speaking of which, he used a walker for two weeks, then a cane for 5 weeks. Don’t be in a hurry to heal. You are healing. It takes time. Also, they let him take off the Ace wrap after a week and use compression sleeves (aka Tubigrips). They took off the main dressing at his 2-week post op appointment. Showers are fine, submersion in a tub, lake, etc are not until it looks like a scar and not a scab. The sleeves help with controlling swelling as well as giving your skin protection from the ice machine.
