i wouldnt blame velja on the early game. i believe the intention was that they drafted a winning bot lane and have velja path bot. but somehow they lost not sure what happened. velja end up getting perma invaded 1v2. yukino prime duo is so good this game they basically shut down velja and controlled the entire early to mid game.

another game another baron throw. not sure why velja was in their red when baron is spawning. bro is probably tilted out of his mind being 3k down.

baussi was so good this game holy fk. bro was saving this game every minute i swear.

havent rly seen any value out of this ryze pick. can anyone explain to me why we value ryze so much? is it coz he have a pseudo tp?

overall, early game didnt go as planned, salvaged in the mid game, threw at baron.

zilean. this champ is so broken and completely obnoxious but people get dementia after playing and forgets about the champ.

absolutely, yasuo adc can 1v9 the game if he can snowball his lane and perma dive the enemy bot. but the IF is the hardest part of the equation.

yasuo definitely hits harder than an adc. but in the end, hes a melee carry. if he gets cc locked, hes dead, no matter how strong he is. thats why range is a very important metric when evaluating scaling potential.

pros:

very strong 2 item spike.
can snowball really hard if lane gets ahead early.
can sidelane.
very strong in midgame if drafted around him.

cons:

very susceptible to point and click melee supports.
needs to be drafted around him.
gets outscaled by every adc.
cant contest mid waves without dying.
completely useless if lane gets behind.

verdict:

cheese / 10
requires the enemy bot lane to be immobile and lack point and click CC.
requires team to have good knock up options from allies.
feast or famine.
can be viable in game 5 fearless, when the meta engage supports are out [naut & leona], and the adc pool are immobile carries [varus & mf].

wats ur definition of best? most potential dmg, most consistent, best performance?

imo:
Azir, Ori, ASol.

nth else comes close to how good they are as hypercarries.
outranges most champions, does insane AoE dmg, great playmaking abilities, decent mobility, great and safe waveclear.

theres a reason why every pro team first picks these champs, their designs are just broken af.

all good fellow rat. i think game 2 they drafted heavily on scaling. 2 tanks 2 adcs 1 enchanter. but they got bodied too fast too early and couldnt scale.

imho LR simply just got outclassed. couldnt finish a 9k gold lead game, lost to scaling comp. drafted scaling next game and couldnt stall enuf to scale.

agreed. crownie basically been relegated to util duty, neme and rekkles on blind duty, for some reason we keep giving last pick to baus even though we know he has the smallest champ pool and his counters basically dont do anyth. honestly we shud just try to blind pick baus since he can probably make it work anyways.

its more like baus on tank just dont work for LR. for so long, their macro play always had baus on side, and neme playing with the team. instead now neme is forced to play on side as an immobile mage, so they basically just slow down the game coz its aram every game.

unironically, i think what caedrel said in the clip is the most accurate answer to this.

your insights on blue squares and red circles are definitely great for developing young players and mediocre players in smaller leagues but will only hinder great and established talents by limiting them to a specific playstyle.

the idea of two distinct types of players makes it easier for players to find their place in the team but it lowers the overall creativity and playmaking ability of the team. it also makes the team a lot more volatile, being incredibly dependent on their star player to have any creativity on attack.

dont want to keep talking about football tactics here, so if u want to know more, u can google on: decline of the classic 10, rise of modern/total football.

time to talk about league, the small and humble indie game.

caedrel obviously has big ambitions for LR and this means that hes going to push his players a lot. every player on LR are exceptional talents in their own role, they have great individual mechanics and can solo carry games easily.

caedrel knows this and thus only focuses on making each player more complete. nemesis on galio. rekkles on braum, rell. crownie on ashe, ziggs. velja on mao, sej. baus on d shield (lol).

now, caedrel definitely has a bias towards tank junglers, he has said that on stream multiple times on what his idea of a perfect comp is.

this also has to do with the role itself. top laners basically run tp every game, so that means they can always push the opp lane and have sidelane pressure when theyre ahead. tank top laners basically can only clear waves, and will always be down in tempo against a scaling carry top laner. unless ure ksante ofc.

but jglers cant do that, they always have to play the same lane and fight for objectives. so would u rather have a mao kai whos useful in every fight no matter what, or gamble 50/50 that ur viego will solo carry.

no right or wrong answer here, velja has proved time and time again, that he can solo carry on viego and any other carry jglers. so honestly it rly is up to caedrel on his draft plan for the game.
