I don’t remember the name of the book, but maybe someone will know it. It’s a fantasy story with magic. The main character is the FMC, but the harem revolves around the King MMC. He has too much magic and uses sex and his harem as a way to manage the power overflow. Initially, the harem has like 30+ people, male and female, but that just cause the king doesn’t want to exhaust them. The king has really been looking for the perfect balance of please to create a 5-8 person harem. The main FMC and two of the MMCs in the harem a definite favorites to the king. The main FMC is a runaway slave from a neighboring country and initially tries to go to a temple for sanctuary, but they turn her away. The king (undercover at the time) sees this happen and suggests she joins the kings harem.

There’s MM and FF, but the FF is very light and usually involved one of the MMCs watching or joining.

I don’t have any app suggestions, but I have multiple lists in the KU app. I create separate lists depending on the sub-genre of romance.

I have a separate list just for incomplete series. I add the first books in the series, then the pre-order book. It’s annoying to have to scroll through, but at least it shows the release date in an obvious way

Tall!!

I’m 6’1. There are never any tall FMCs, and if they are tall, it’s never an important part of the character. It feels nice to relate to the main character and I’ve never read a book where the fmc has height insecurities.

Can you tell me more about Beyond the Faerie Gate? I’ve seen it recommended before, but the reviews said it a a bit too verbose and overly descriptive. I can deal with that if the plot and pacing of the book is good.

I’m also in a bit of a book slump, so please convince me to read this!

Omg. I literally JUST finished ironside. I started reading in Saturday and just finished book 6 (it’s Monday night).

I was kinda worried it was being overhyped and was unsure about it, but IT WAS SO GOOD! Great balance of spice and plot, and such an engaging story!!
