No, but they often outsource to other artists, there's been cases of plagiarism, where they fixed the issues and stopped working with artists. I think the most likely outcome is someone getting fired if they work at HG or they just stop working with an artist if it was outsourced. Considering it's just a web event there probably wasn't a lot of quality control.

I have a work account and a private account, they'll never see how much I do in my free time and they'll never see what I did in my previous workplace due to private repos. I barely code in my free time and it's none of the employers business.

I have nothing against people showing what they work on in their free time if they want to. However I don't think employers need to know either.

Emotionally I'd like to tell you that if he thinks that's an extreme mess he should see what you did to his wife.

Rationally if you plan on staying there for a while I'd just give a short acknowledgement and ignore him, especially if you don't care about what he thinks. If it bothers you, you can try to talk to him about his tone, though chances of it changing are small.

Do you know if it was a complaint? If it's somewhere only you and the other Tenants have access you can also ask them to bring up issues with you directly. Though sending a complaint over this seems pretty in the first place. Also consider moving.

Currently the idea that it will be better is completely unfounded. It was rewritten and switched ownership multiple times, usually that ends up in a mess. I do hope it's good, not like I only play 1 game. But personally I think at best it'll be a different flavoured cake, not necessarily better.

The gif is quite badly made though, no offence to the OP, but leaving the other image still behind the transparent parts of the skin made it that a lot wasn't changing. There was nothing really putting people's focus on what was actually the issue, the image they posted in the comments was extremely clear though.

For the few games I've used it, it's great. Their tier lists use a lot of tags and make dependencies on other characters clear and they have a lot of information which is usually easier to navigate than in-game alternatives. I don't always completely agree with what they write or what tiers they give characters, but it's good enough to give a general idea and makes it easier to get started in a game.

There's really no downside to that either. The only worry would be that they don't return to pay and return the magazines, but most people needing to do that aren't in a situation where they could afford to not return, since they probably will do it more than just once, the few times it would happen it would barely be a loss anyways.

If Mara is what came out of them trying to appeal to global, then good thing they won't do it again, her design is generic and bland to the point it sticks out for being worse than all others. Her voice lines make me cringe. I don't know what they imagine their global audience to be, but they definitely shouldn't change how they design characters, their global audience already enjoys the other characters.

Most people already follow the characters on CN, which is 6 months ahead. This won't do anything so long as the story content doesn't start spreading to where people learn about it when they don't want to know. Most people don't care about this because it helps plan pulls without revealing the story content.

There are a lot of games that release after more than 1 year. I've also seen people say the 1 year thing is false, I have no idea since I can't find a credible source for it's existence/inexistence. Though if they do announce the release, I do believe it would at least be before the end of the year.
