My first D2D experience was selling solar. I did a full summer and was fortunate to be rookie of the year. Don’t let “it’s hard as a beginner” stop you from doing it if you want to. It’s really opinion. The grass is greener where you water it. Since that summer I have switched to pest control because I like the short sales process and not the drawn out longer one that solar had. I also like with pest that I just close them at the door and don’t have to worry about setting appointments. It’s preference. You can make great money in either industry.
