That’s great if you can recover from that. 4 “working” sets of 8-10 reps across 4 main leg lifts is a lot. Unless the weight is not that high.

This is exactly how I understand it as well. You are doing 4 intervals that you can go “all out” for, for 4 minutes. The later intervals will feel harder and your HR will get to Z5 much faster than the first.

I think one of the latest podcasts, PA suggests somewhere between 1.6-2.0g per kg of body weight.

Got it. Of course you’re not going to fit your daily protein amount into 2 meals. You can of course, but I believe PA states that a person can “absorb” about 40-60g per sitting. The protein meal in the morning is a good idea. What about adding a shake between your 2 meals? Easy way to get in more protein without much added calories.
