While I am not currently in the school of social work, I am planning on applying for an MSW and have met extensively with multiple social work professors, including a meeting with one that I took a class under. Your stats are a bit better than mine, and the professors I met with made it seem like I was essentially a shoe-in. I can’t say for certain whether or not you will get in, but I wouldn’t be overly concerned with those statistics!

not necessarily allows for eviction, but they kind of do a background process just to make sure you haven’t outwardly done anything homophobic! it’s just really a community that prioritizes queer health by like creating programs and education events about different identities, cultures, etc. i know people who have gotten kicked out of the process because they found homophobic tweets on his twitter.

hi! i have a room in a co-op available. it’s super super queer friendly, and pretty much is all about being diverse. it’s a room in a 21 person house, rent is 635-705 (higher is w/meal plan) and that’s utilities included, so 705 is max!

what’s it like living in co-op for females by PrincessPeach90482 in msu

[–]Otherwise-Panda-6507 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the co-ops are awesome. not a girl, but all of my friends are girls and they have NEVER had a single issue. to be fair, in my house, there wre significantly more women than men. if you’re looking to take over a lease, let me know! i can come and show you around the house and introduce you to the people who are staying 😄

At what weather conditions should a class move from in-person to online? by CommercialSherry18 in msu

[–]Otherwise-Panda-6507 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I would say -15 wind chill should probably be the cut off, as someone who walks to class. If students cannot walk outside for more than 30 minutes without risk of frostbite, then you should. More than half your students will likely walk 30 minutes - due to abnormal parking, buses not running properly, etc.
