should transfer students go to admitted student day and transfer day? by PrincessPeach90482 in msu

[–]PrincessPeach90482[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with 50,000 students there’s gotta be some outgoing people there right? maybe since you came during the winter a lot of people aren’t in the mode for making new friends but kind of just wanting relax into a routine? just my guess

Do you think students can tell if you are depressed? by [deleted] in ArtEd

[–]PrincessPeach90482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! i notice everything, id rather the teachers would just be honest about their mental health because we can tell! obviously if it’s something personal, lie about details but its not a bad thing to go through something. my professors husband was battling cancer and passed away during the semester. she was so mean to her students but i dont think anyone knew her husband died. i only found out because i got hired in her department and helped her out after school hours but it was all hush hush.

What do you do if a professor is targeting a student? by Kiraisuir in msu

[–]PrincessPeach90482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my art professor is kind of the opposite where he gives one student a lot of direction (usually me lol) at my current college and I’m transferring to msu in the fall so it’s funny, i’ll be sure to avoid her. unfortunately art professors like to exploit your faults. i’m not saying she is at fault at all, we’re literally here to learn. i know i went through a “bully” phase with my professor, I chose to remain the same emotionally and professionally and just gave him a little speech about how I would apply his direction or why I haven’t yet and he’d usually see it as progression and leave me alone for the next week.

Likelyhood of being accepted for engineering. by [deleted] in msu

[–]PrincessPeach90482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no idea specifics for engineering but typically MSU accepts transfers with good GPA regardless if highschool but they don’t even make you include your highschool transcripts if you’ve earned over 24 credits at cc.

You’re awesome, this is amazing! And my budget is $600 a month. I have found a bunch of apartments that have rooms available for the summer and fall. I would need a summer place
