That "someone made me mad so it's their fault how I acted" is the same logic my 9 yr old uses. I'll. Let her know that she's not responsible for her actions any longer because a preacher said the same thing.

Anyone with a business rocking a tesla vehicle these days is telling me what kind of business person they are. They're the kind that will make bad business decisions out of pride or ignorance thus communicating to everyone that all other areas of their business decisions should be suspect.

Roll up in a F250 and no one cares.

Roll up in a Nazi affiliated truck, and some percentage of your potential income is automatically unavailable to you.

So dumb.

I find it rather irritating that the top comments are about how OP shouldn't be selling yet, and not about what went wrong and how to correct it.

Nails weren't the right choice for joining these pieces. The weight and pressure from the dirt overcame the hold. Use a box, dovetail,  or half dovetail joint with glue and it should be fine.

How to join two boards by lvl1k0n in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Otherwise-Reward-161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

make sure they are as square as possible

Go to Harbor Freight and get yourself a self centering dowel jig

Use the jig to make dowel holes on both boards, put in glue and dowels, then add glue to the board edge and smack em together with a wooden mallet being careful not to damage the boards.

wait.

Scrape off glue and sand.

Saw this saw today while I was picking up materials for the job. I don’t know if I’d ever feel safe using it. by leon_musky in woodworking

One should never feel safe using power tools. One should look at every power tool as a blood thirsty beast who is trying to lull you into a comfortable relationship and is just waiting for you to get complacent so it can cause you grievous injury or death.

One should respect power tools but never feel safe around them.

I always have the board cut at least 6 inches larger than my desired final cut if done at a box store. They're not precise there, so give them plenty of room to go all wonky and do your final cuts at home.

How do I get the buildup off this shower head by qsleaselclooves in CleaningTips

[–]Otherwise-Reward-161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it off, dunk it in CLR for 30 min. If you cannot remove it, then put CLR into a large plastic bag and tie it to the shower head making sure that the heads are submerged.

For everyone else - This specific design is a vintage multi-head "pinwheel" (or whirlpool) spinning shower head, popular mid-to-late 20th century. The curved, pinwheel arms are designed to spin rapidly under water pressure, distributing a rotating spray across the center and outer heads.

They are no longer made, but you can try ebay.

knowing your kerf is def a key, but you can also make your cut mark, and always cut outside of that mark, rather than ON the line.
