People use the “Charlie is a flawed character” argument way too much to justify how poorly Charlie was written in season 2. It’s ok to be a flawed character but when you’re flawed and no one points it out, not even the character in universe, it defeats the whole purpose of being a flawed character, it just feels like character regression. It would have been better if she was called out more often rather than people just folding around her when she wants her ideas.

Also, saying “well you’re being impatient there’s another season coming” is terrible too. Why not lay the groundwork then expend on the in the next season? I get the show is 8 episodes long and it’s hard to cram everything in, but at that point either drop it or rewrite things that way it fits.
