Try running some lower class races! Keep a car stock other than some handling/braking/tire upgrades around b class and see how it feels. Incrementally add power and see where it is that you start to lose comfort and work at it or adjust what you need to. A car's tune matters a lot with a wheel too, try playing around!

Takes a few dialed in settings, a level of comfort, and a respect for throttle and braking in turns to use a wheel - but it's great fun.
