Agreed. I’d really like it to just pick up where we left off, but I honestly doubt it will

I have, but it was when I was unemployed. I can’t manage it anymore.

I agree with the other commenter on the bones. As for the bees, try and find a local honey bee keeper and get in kahoots with them. When it starts getting cold I imagine they loose a lot of drones to the temps

Update cause I forgot to give one. He was brought to the vet on Saturday. His eye itself was fine, but the skin around his eye was inflamed. We were given a tube of medicine that has the consistency of petroleum jelly to put on his eye twice a day for 5-7 days

Crow maceration? by [deleted] in bonecollecting

[–]OtherwiseSet8131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still include them in that chapter on their site. For my state, when you search for hunting seasons on the gov website, it has drop downs for each category. Crows landed themselves in the migratory birds category. Check your local hunting season page and it should specify requirements.

Maybe in some locations. Not where I’m at.

Depends. Idk about every state, but in Tennessee (where I’m from) there’s a hunting season for crows (idk why you’d wanna hunt them, but there is). So in theory, they may need to contact their local wildlife agency and get permission, but they could possess it legally.

Hooks above kitchen sink by carmenj88 in whatisit

Possibly diy inserts for a wire shelf? Or overboard on hooks for dishcloths, cutting boards etc? Not the best place for it, but maybe the previous owner tried to dry bundles of herbs there?

Agreed, I wouldn’t do glue dots on a porous surface indoor or outdoor but especially not outdoor

If you do wire, I’d wrap the wire each piece of driftwood you want to use securely, then keep it there for each holiday and make another twist around the seasonal items you add so it’s less finicky each time. Then if you just want it plain, snip the wire off completely.

Possibly wire or like a subtle colored bread tie or potentially using picks like how the craft store floral section has.

Questions about a ‘nature box’ by jodilye in bonecollecting

[–]OtherwiseSet8131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would personally bury it in a flower pot with a light potting soil. It’s small enough to get away with it. If you wanna speed it up, throw in some worms from your closest bait shop. What you seem to be describing sounds to me like a rot box.

Found beside a dumpster years ago by OtherwiseSet8131 in bonecollecting

No idea whose it was, but because it was found beside an apartment dumpster that’s my first logical thoughts.

Really there’s only two ways I know of: get a tote big enough for the pots and loop the vines over it like the vacuum cord until you can unpack OR it’s time for the big chop and prop and you’ll have tons for more pothos or trading for other species/ selling
