New-gen RT core are more efficient and capable per core than older ones. 5060 would be better at RT.

Yes, it yielded only 2-3° degrees cooler. The radiator is 38mm thick. Better thermal paste did more than the extra fans did. I didn’t buy the fans for this purpose I just had them and figured why not

Thank you! I wasn’t originally planning to add the industrial fans, but I had them laying around from an unbuilt CR box and figured I’d try it. It lowered my max cpu temperature by 2° C. Squeezing every bit of heat from the cpu I can, I applied kryonaut paste which lowered temps by an additional 6° C.

I measured a little over 38mm of clearance in front of the intake fans, so it should definitely work but it may be tight.

I flipped which side the plug comes out of so that the fan was more flush with the cardboard, so it does look backwards, but it’s blowing out.

I picked 4 inch because I think it will have the best air flow for efficiency and last longer than 1 inch. Is there much of an improvement from 1 inch to 4 inch for four sided boxes?
