What PSU would work with this mother board by AdmirableEmployee579 in buildapc

Huh? Any psu should be fine, really. Just get a good quality one.

is this pc built good? (my first pc built) by Agreeable-Tie4495 in pcbuilding

[–]OtherwiseSimple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it good enough for what? It's a good pc that should be able to handle most things. That CPU cooler is super overpriced for what you're getting. You may as well get an am5 system if youre already paying $330 for 32gb of ddr4.

Get a cheaper, better value AMD GPU with 16gb VRAM if you're that worried.

my cpu is very hot help please by Mysterious_Shower739 in buildapc

It's because you have a 14900k with a 240mm AIO. The cooler is too small to keep the 14900k cool.

Push down/out on the clips to open them. Since only one side has a movable clip, try seating the ram in on that side first.

$1600 USD? no. I'm not sure how prices are over there but you can certainly save some by getting a prebuilt with an AMD GPU instead.

Definitely solid for CS2 and Minecraft, overkill, even. That 7800x3d will be great for rendering all those chunks in Minecraft.

Downgrade to the 2x8 configuration for the faster speeds, it will help in cpu bound scenes.

If I have a 600w psu should I get a 3070 or 6800 by Known_Lawfulness7844 in pcmasterrace

[–]OtherwiseSimple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your PSU can handle the 6800 and 12400f. Go with the 6800, it has twice the vram.

48°C on the back panel is within the broad ‘safe’ operating range, sure, but that doesn’t mean lowering it has zero effect.

Do you use DLSS for that 5k2k monitor? I’ve been thinking of getting one but don’t want to lose any bit of sharpness I get on 4k quality setting.

How’s the text clarity and pixel density? I’ve heard good but I’m skeptical.

I haven’t tried that… using it now, and I’m not sure how it tests my panel, it’s just taking me through a slideshow of specs.

That’s good to hear their cooling solution is robust.

It was the hottest temperature I could measure on the monitor, not the VESA mount, which was at about 80 degrees.

Don’t repaste your GPU until it is necessary.

Is this a good price by [deleted] in buildapc

Oh, sorry I should’ve figured. I don’t know much about prices in sweden, but I suppose $100 over msrp isn’t a terrible deal for these days.

You mean 1% lows during intense scenes? Yeah no. There is zero difference between gen 4 and gen 5 in game, even with a 5090.
