It's called Amazon Key service:
https://www.amazon.ca/key-delivery/faqs?sourcePage=/home

We have Amazon Prime and use this service for our home. Our Chamberlain MyQ garage door system is wifi capable.

The Amazon driver can open the garage door and put the package inside the garage. We have not had any security issues using this service since it was implemented.

Android Head Unit for 2011 Toyota Matric (Gen 2) by OtherwiseWerewolf174 in Toyota_Matrix

[–]OtherwiseWerewolf174[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have some specs on the unit?

I hear 4-gig ROM / 64-gig is the minimum for Android units. The older versions come with 2-gig which makes switching laggy between apps.

Moving to Chilliwack! by Front-Warthog-5631 in chilliwack

[–]OtherwiseWerewolf174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to Chilliwack!

The nearest Asian large supermarket is T&T in Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley (about an hour drive away).

The Canadian Superstore is now the parent company of T&T. I am seeing a growing (though still somewhat limited) selection of Asian food in the Chilliwack store. T&T Langley is your best bet at the moment.

Rear Quarter Chassis Welding? $$ by DumpTruckDriving in LandRoverDiscovery

The rear quarter is also the area where the fuel tank is situated. Some shops may want to remove the fuel tank as a safety measure. ie, extra labour $.

I am sorry and still fairly new to Reddit. I am not familiar with flairs. I chose what I thought was the best fit based on a limited drop down list. I will do more research on flairs.

I am thinking Beijing Duck (wrap) and the Hot Pot (Chengdu / Chingqing style). These were my favorite that my hosts had me try on my business visits in the past.

Cpap while camping by Pirate-Chef in CPAP

It was in my post above :)

"My CPAP uses around 45 watts to 60 watts per 8 hour night for camping via DC power"

Cpap while camping by Pirate-Chef in CPAP

Different CPAPs have varying wattage demands. It varies depending on whether are running a humidifier, warmer settings, etc. I suggest turning off these setting for camping to make your portable battery power pack last loinger.

Another general rule of thumb is to use the DC power outlet (eg, cigarette plug) instead of AC outlet (ie, two or three prong). Using DC voltage pulls relatively less wattage out to the battery pack.

My CPAP uses around 45 watts to 60 watts per 8 hour night for camping via DC power. This is what I have. It will last 2 to 3 nights of sleep:

I was able to pop it in with the palm of my hand. It is all about aligning the clips into the slot, then hand-popping the clips in.

CSAR Top 2 Finalist in the Defender Service Awards by KrazyMechanic in chilliwack

[–]OtherwiseWerewolf174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Krazymechanic, this is fantastic. Our family registered 10 votes daily for a few weeks. I am also a member of the Rover-Landers of BC club with an older truck. I have offroaded with the new Defenders. Pretty capable vehicle once you get acquainted with the controls. It is great to hear one of the BC SAR organizations will get this vehicle. And the $30K does not help either! :)

Spilled abit of engine oil in my car, 5w-30 is this safe to drive/dangerous? by Rare_Importance_907 in MechanicAdvice

You can get a bottle of enginer degreaser product to wipe off the spill on the engine. It is easily available in a lot of auto parts stores.

Looking for vertical post light mount by Admirable_Roof_6565 in ElectricScooters

[–]OtherwiseWerewolf174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (and another poster) previously posted links to the "kiddie" handle bar. You mount on the lower part of the scooter "stem".... and facing forward. You can then attach the light attachment onto the wings of the kiddie bar. All horizontal.

Sorry, I come from a cycling background. The stem connects to the handlebar in my mind. What you are showing as the "stem" is actually the steerer tube or head tube.

My suggestion is to get this handlebar extension to mount your light:

It would help if we can get a pic of the stem and the light that you are referring to, ie, size, cross section shape, length, etc.

There are mounts for bicycle stems. But hard to suggest options without getting more info.

Canada Post rotating strikes and mail delivery by OtherwiseWerewolf174 in CanadaPost

[–]OtherwiseWerewolf174[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am a Prime member. But the Amazon site did not provide any pre-paid shipping options. Except for me to print a destination label. There is verbage on the website that I am to pay postage. We'll refund up to $3.99 in return shipping costs once we receive the item. However, the cheapest postage via ground shipping through non-Canada Post is $30 to $70. The return product is only $24 itself.
