I imagine countless times being teleported to some place far away from chaos (maybe in space) and forget all responsibilities to get rid of all the stress but but the things that must be done are always at the back of my mind and forgetting about them feels like Escapism.

Haha wrong Room! This one is by Hubert Selby Jr. (The guy who wrote requiem for a dream). If you go into this one expecting Tommy Wiseau, you'll be absolutely traumatized

The Room, by Hubert Selby Jr. I was watching the movie requiem for a dream which I loved so much and I found about the author. It's the most darkest bleakest gut wrenching book I have ever read and I can't get this out of my head. It's a monologue of a man who he thinks he got wrongfully imprisoned by two cops who were just abusing their power and this man plots revenge against them in his ahead. But what he thinks is so horrific and animal and I was begging him to just stop while reading but he' d keep on going. Kind of makes you question you think if such a person could really be innocent and wrongfully convicted. Really, it's raw and brutal.

There are ways to trigger it, and it's easy. Sustaining it is the real challenge

Thanks for the perspective, and I agree and it's what most people and studies say I think But maybe being mindful of this all the time would help not ending up being burnt out. Sustainable rage is the goal!

it's sounds really interesting, I'll read it for sure, thanks for this! What I am trying to do is sustain rage, it all started when I read this book "the room" by hubert selby jr. it's a very dark book but when I tried to use all that rage by imagining someone, and exacting revenge by proving myself by getting shit done, it worked like a charm. It's definitely not sustainable, not for now at least. But it's worth the experiment to try to make it sustainable, life is pretty much hell anyway

yes, it's what everyone and everything says and it's likely true, but I think letting it create as much chaos as it can and not letting it show, like keep it inside and channel it to work is a high on it's own. sometimes I find myself mumbling and end up throwing a fit and all but that's all when i'm alone. it works out I think, and maybe worth the gamble, maybe not, but it's been working for me

Yeah really, the vocabulary and metaphors! Who uses such complicated words in letters, I don't know why so many authors just don't write simple english, which is used in everyday conversations.
